I don’t want to be overly negative but I’m pretty frustrated with what I just watched and am not even sure I can articulate it properly.

Look at the positives. We took it to OT at home. Against a 3-3 conference team. We barely blew another halftime lead. We are still .500 in conference. Offensive rebounding was only like 25-6 or something insignificant like that. This team is really good just unlucky.

couple of absolutely enormous missed opportunities at home against ole miss and tennessee. saturday is a must win.
it doesnt really matter all that much as long as we make the tournament. sure the seed line matters to win a game or whatever, but we aren't making the sweet 16 regardless. just continue to get in.

That ending was one of the dumbest things I’ve ever seen in a basketball game. I’m starting to lose a little faith.

Been saying it for years. They need to put the students on the other side of the court behind the benches and put the old money where the students sit now.

You sure about that? We aren't a lock for 20 wins and the SEC is nowhere remotely close to as strong as it was last year. 19-12 probably doesn't get it this year.

I agree. 3-5 is probably our ceiling for the next half of conference play.

White seems to be a better recruiter than a coach.
For instance, the OT losses suggest that our clutch game plan aka winning plays aren't cutting it.
Maybe we should keep him as a recruiter and look for a better coach.

because you say absolutely nothing of substance (and coincidentally are absent when we win). Fools gold fools gold fools gold....wtf do you actually mean? Explain in detail. Presumably you are expecting some great thing and then disappointed when it's less...so what specifically are/were you expecting?

The last time UGA made back to back tournaments was about 25 got damn years ago and we are in a very real position to do just that. As a looooong suffering UGA basketball fan if you cant' find joy in THAT, then you're just not a happy person in life in general. I suspect you are applying football standards (MUST WIN EVERY GAME) to basketball which is simply foolish.
It's possible to be annoyed and upset when we lose, especially in stupid fashion such as yesterday, while not completely shitting on the program every single loss we take.

It appears we’ve may have peaked but I still think we’re capable of finishing.500 or better in league play. Generally when that happens, you’re in the NCAAT.

Also… Blue Cain has to play better or we’re fricked. I’ve never seen a player in a shooting slump like he’s been in. When he’s confident, the whole team rises.

What we know is this team can beat pretty much anyone if they play smart. When they have mental breakdowns, they can lose to about anyone. Hoping they can get their heads right and make a run here.
