He played both. He was excellent at star. Average at safety.

Jackson held his own last year and got meaningful snaps in the Natty against Bama. He is a hard hitter and knows how to get to the ball.

You need adequate speed to play safety, but also as important you need experience and vision. He’s got all of that.

4.48 laser time is going to be one of the faster people on the field.

For perspective, he would have got the 10th best time at the combine for Safeties in 2022. The guy who was 11 on that list with a 4.49 was taken in the 2nd round.
