Does competitive mean something unique where you live?
Georgia in 2019 was not competitive with the top teams in the SEC. LSU humiliated us (actually our offense humiliated us). And we barely beat Auburn, aTm, and Florida only because our defense shut them down. Fromm was under 50% in those games. Hardly competitive with the best teams in the country.

Who were we competing with when we beat Auburn, UF, and ATM? LSU?

The teams listed. Doesn’t mean we had stellar performances. If our O was as strong as our D this year we would be playing in a bowl that matters.

Luck? Or maybe Kirby knows that scheme wasn't the problem, it was execution. When the scheme draws up wide open receivers who drop the ball that hits them in the chest, or Fromm overthrows it, that's an execution problem. The scheme worked.
Mark Richt used to say it was the lack of execution by the players and not the coaching. We saw how that ended for him.
Coley WILL get shite-canned as OC at UGA. It's just matter of when and whether Smart wants to risk another wasted season.

we don't need another offensive reject from Miami.

Well, ya. Our defense was amazing. I don’t believe he said that tho...

I think Enos would be awesome. Proven track record with QBs. Let him coordinate passing game and let Luke coordinate the running game.
Tell Coley to do something far away from both.

We were competing against the teams I listed. But our offense couldn't score more than 2 TDs against nearly every top SEC team we played. That can't possibly be competitive in a conference where the top teams all averaged over 31 ppg against FBS teams while we averaged 28.5.
Against SEC teams we averaged 23.6 ppg while Alabama, Auburn, LSU, Florida, aTm, and Ole Miss averaged more than us.

So, I can only assume the word competitive means something different to you.

It obviously means something different to me than it does to you. How competitive were we against LSU?

No one is mistaking Auburn, Florida, and A&M as being among the very best teams in college football.

We were not and if you only said LSU, you would have made a point, though your point would have been made comparing our offense to one of the most prolific offenses of all time.
The other teams, we put more points on the board than they did, which the word competitive would imply that our team was able to compete with those teams.
There were a lot of shortcomings with the 2019 offense and it is a shame our defense didn’t have a better offense to complement it. Saying it was not competitive, though, is factually untrue.

The AP apparently is gravely mistaken as they have Florida at #9 and Auburn at #11

Miami looks like a team short on talent. I don't know anything about Enos, one way or the other.

I don't know if anyone remembers Miami's first game but their line gave up 10 sacks and they should've beat UF with a first-time starter out there. Enos can call plays, just needs to be around better talent.

1/2 the naysayers are alts here and the rest would be miserable while getting a blowjob, while winning the lottery, while watching UGA beat UF, but not by a lot.

If our knuckleheads continue to not execute, it won't matter who the OC is.

Enos made one of the oddest coaching moves I've ever seen several years ago. He voluntarily left the Central Michigan HC job to be Arkansas OC.
Those Arkansas offenses were very, very good. I would be all aboard if we got Enos here.

But I am too old to play! Don't blame lack of execution on me!
Or were you talking about the other knuckleheads?
