Shut out by Louisiana Tech. Not a great look.

Richt's high flying FSU offense was held scoreless (fsu put up 2 total points on the scoreboard) in their bowl game after he announced he was leaving for UGA.
If Enos already knows he's outta there I'm not gonna put a whole lot of stock into this meaningless game against a scrub in shreveport.
eta: what a strange post to downvote..must be a rival fan lurking lol

I don’t have a strong feeling one way or the other on Enos but I’ll say that Miami’s personnel looked awful and was without their two best offensive players. So take this particular game with an extreme grain of salt

I didn't watch a single second of the game, but here's what I know for sure about enos:
-he was kirby's first choice as OC when kirby got hired
-saban wanted him bad enough that he brought him on immediately after his non-compete ended when bret was fired
-arkansas fans rave about him and loved the offenses with him
that's really all I need to know about the guy, I think. I mean at the very least he can't possibly be worse than coley.

Enos is far from the best OC available, but it would be impossible to overstate how much of an upgrade he would be over Coley.
With that said, I would prefer a complete overhaul. Our current offense is so far from being competitive that I don’t think a “tweak” will get us there.

Yes. Our offense is a trainwreck right now. When I watched the Schottenheimer offense, I thought that certainly I would not see a worse Georgia offense in my life.
Then this cluster of a year happened.

Please hire Enos as QB coach / co-OC.

Well I'm gonna have to strongly disagree there.
For starters, I absolutely DO want to see us overhaul our offensive philosophy and run something more modern. I'm not saying "all is well, everything is fine!", so let's get that on record from teh jump. With that being said it's completely false to say we can't win with this offense or this offense is terrible. This is the exact same offense we had in 17 and 18 when we had great offenses. In fact, we have the same QB, same OL, and same RB as last year when our offense was excellent. The only difference is we lost our top 5 receivers adn downgraded at OC. It's simply common sense that when you replace hardman/godwin/ridley/holloman/nauta with landers/simmons/jackson/cager/pickens/wolf you're gonna have a bad time. But the offense itself can (and has, here, recently) succeed.

Just FYI, Enos doesn’t run any sort of spread. And that may make him attractive to Kirby still if he isn’t interested in a complete overhaul.

Are you typically considered irrational and emotional?

UGA runs a spread more than 50 percent of the time. So where does this nonsense that Kirby doesn't like it come from? Our most used package is 3 WR, TE, 1 RB with the QB in the shotgun.
I don't care about the circumstances Enos just flopped. We can do better. The fact the he doesn't run spread makes me like him even less. There is no great offense in college football that doesn't run spread at all and it has been that way for a long time.

Exactly... and then we run 4 WR sets with 1 back and then sometimes empty the backfield. We also run some bunch stuff, but that is not a Pro offense. More of one to keep the defenses honest with personnel and scheme.
The offense could certainly be better, but we are not running eye formation under center.

Based on the LSU, Auburn, and Florida offensive showings? Absolutely. Very far from being competitive.

Enos is not Coley. Right now - that's enough. At least for me. For now.

It's sheer luck that Chad Morris, Rich Rod, Enos, Kendall Briles were/are all on the table and Kirby hasn't made a move

Luck? Or maybe Kirby knows that scheme wasn't the problem, it was execution. When the scheme draws up wide open receivers who drop the ball that hits them in the chest, or Fromm overthrows it, that's an execution problem. The scheme worked.

Run run pass punt was the scheme. We can do way better. We were just spoiled by nick and Sony.
