Colbie Young isn't even a very good receiver, and seems like he has real human being issues too. Him and RaRa would probably get along good together.
As far as a player, he kinda sucks. The way he didn't even try to contest that throw to him at Bama, that got intercepted, he just looked like, oh well and started jogging up the sideline like he just missed the bus into town.
Sounds like he needs to go back to UM with the culture they have there.

I would much rather play smaller with a Dom and Bell than get Colby the ball
Hell, let Humphrey's at 6'2 be our big target. He is only 1 inch shorter than Colbie

I say kick him off just for having a pregnant girlfriend. That's too much of an off-field distraction when you play this level of ball. And it leads to.... this kind of shite.

One word... leadership.
I think there were a ton of good leaders in the locker room that are now all gone, in the NFL. I think they were policing things just as much as Kirby is/ was. Now they're gone and your left with a leadership vacuum. Someone needs to step up but it doesn't seem like any of the players want that responsibility.

Doesn't make me feel good for the program when these things happen. I don't want to be associated with a program that tolerates such behavior, so if this accusation is true, he needs to be gone right away. Men should be protectors of women and children, not aggressors towards them.

As long as we don’t see Dillion Bell’s name pop up, we’ll be ok.

If nothing else, our transfer vetting process needs serious work.
One of the myriad problems with the portal is described by coaches as "speed dating" for transfer recruits.
Where you might have had literal years to develop a relationship with a player - you can vet them, they can vet the school - you have weeks, sometimes days to get kids from the portal.

It does seem like a weaker group of upperclassmen from that perspective. The 2021 defense had several guys who would jump a teammate for a missed assignment or stupid penalty. I’m not sure we have anyone able or willing to do that at the moment. That bleeds over off the field as well.

The strong leaders leave no room for the younger players to develop leadership. They graduate, leave a vacuum and then a new set has to emerge. Seems leadership isn't becks thing and we are linebacker by committee right now.

the Columbus PD does a much better job of covering for the players than Athens.
So the police should cover for offenders?

For hitting women (assumption)? No. For some of the routine stupid college crap that over 95% of us did, sure, sometimes. A local city cop called me this weekend with my teenager stopped for 72 in a 55. No ticket, said he knew I’d handle it. And I did. There’s nothing wrong with that when the cop knows there’s a mechanism in place that will address the issue as or more effectively than a blemish on a kids record.

That's not covering for an offender. That's simply using discretion.
Covering for an offender implies that the officer engaged in wrongdoing.

Read the police report. He didn’t hit her. He grabbed her by the arm and pulled her out if his apartment, went back inside, and locked the door

Are you saying that the AJC and the SECRant and the Shriekers of this board might, possibly, in some way, be wrong?
