Can we get Mel Tucker back? Has he retired from coaching. Did he go somewhere after his Mich St tenure?
He got extorted by that fraud Brenda Tracy and now he is untouchable. He is probably done for good.

don't know what to think about Schumann. Without otherwordly elite talent plus lanning/muschamp at his side he's kinda sucked. However, it's ultimately kirby's systme
This is what the “fire Schuman!” people don’t get.
Do you really think CKS is just sitting there watching Schumann without any input wishing he would do something different? This is every bit as much CKS’s defense as anyone’s.

We obviously have a lot of talent on our defense but I don't think they are as talented as the elite defenses we had on our championship teams.
As such, I think the offense needs to pull their weight especially in the first half of games with a balanced attack that keeps high powered offensive opponents off the field.
We did that vs Ole Miss and I am hoping the trend continues vs Florida and Texas.
And while Beck threw for over 3400 yards last season, I think the offense this season is better because we have a more balanced attack with a solid running game.

We have the bad luck of being you g at db and not elite on the dline. We do not have an even average pass rusher. It shows.

Florida should hire Bobo

I'm sure he'd be an upgrade on anything they've had lately so not sure why you'd wish for that

Every man deserves redemption, with a few exceptions.

I don't think either will get that many looks. Bobo's stint at Colorad St didn't go very well. Even a school like small mid-major like UAB is probably looking for a younger coach with more energy. . I would hope Bobo brings in a QB coach to mentor into the next OC. I would think Bobo would want to try to go down his own path. Maybe he will give a small mid-major a try. I just speculate he wants to stay in Athens. I'm ok with Bobo though. He has shown if he has some stud receivers he can get the job done. Gunner isn't a 5 star guy but he's capable, makes good decisions, and has great receivers this year.
Schumann's D has been porous but as mentioned it's more a lack of talent, but still he's not coaching them up. I
