Thanks Peter, Merry Christmas. I can't wait to see Bellamy and Carter dominate the NFL! It will be fun to watch

Calling a kid garbage and dominating in the NFL are almost the same thing....

You're right. He could also get hurt in the season opener and never play a down of football again in his life. There's simply no way to see the future...and in someone like Chubb's shoes who has already had a devastating knee injury I can easily see why he might want to go ahead and get paid now instead of holding off.

He could also go 3rd round in the NFL, get hurt on the first play, and collect insurance. There are no guarantees. But I'm sure he'll listen carefully to the experts rather a than a bunch of dudes on Dawgrant for advise. And that expert advise might lead him to staying in college for another year and trying to increase his stock, or it might lead him into entering the draft. I'm happy for him either way.

Chubb & Sonny will have to play another year - draft stock too low

What insurance are you referencing? Short term disability?

Once you are in the NFL, the only guarantee is your signing bonus. There isn't a fallback beyond that.

I don't like it when people mess with my emotions especially during the holidays.

some college players recieve insurance policies in case they are injured playing and cannot play in the nfl. school pays for it with agreement to be paid back from the policy or nfl salary. AM had one when he opted to play his last year. i dont think these policies are very prevelent but am being told all the superstars have them.

We need to use Sony more like Reggie Bush. He's great out of the slot

Especially if the reports about MacKenzie being gone are true.

However, I'm not sold on Chaney maximizing our athleticism through inventive schemes.

I shouldn't have said reports, they are rumors. Just more rumors of him not being happy and wanting to transfer.

The rumor I saw about iMac leaving has to do with an academic issue rather than him just wanting to go to the NFL right now.
