the idea that we would run off Beck to make way for Stockton next season is insane.

So was the idea we should sit JT and start Bennett.

We had seen way more production out of Bennett than we have of Stockton, and have seen way more production out of Beck than we had of JT. Not really a close comparison.

Actually think a healthy JT was more productive. At least it didn't look so bad at times.

I think that’s just a combination of the recency of some of Carson’s INTs and a a far inferior receiving corps this season.

JT was super accurate and had good instincts and touch.

Then why has he played for four different college programs?

Bad knees, a terrible oline at wvu, and over protective parents.....

If healthy , he was a stellar QB. There was a reason he was a high 5 and USC QB

Glad Kirby told him to kick rocks, then.

Because he went to Mater Dei and was surrounded by arguably (at the time) the best HS team in the country?

He was legit, injuries hampered him.

It’s funny that back then y’all wanted a pro QB and now y’all want a dual threat College QB.

I want the QB that gives us the best chance to win. Period. Full stop.

Because Stetson couldn't stop throwing picks vs. Bama and that is it. That is the only reason

Who cares if you win all your games but can't beat the big dawg and play for a natty

IMO Gunner forces the offensive game plan to be more centered around getting the ball to the playmakers first and let them do their thing.

IMO with Beck, the offensive game plan was to rely on him first and then the other playmakers.

Just my observations...

Why did beck lay on the field like a little bitch? And wait until the coaches came over before he moved - were his legs hurt?

That and no teammates to help him is a strange look.

What does that have to do with my observations?

I don't disagree with what you said, but I am not connecting it

I know Rattledge came over to check on him and he wasn’t allowed to get too close by the staff.. I think with it being the end of the half, and the offense had almost given up a huge TD, none of them wanted to look back and make eye contact with Kirby. They knew they needed to get their asses in the locker room!!

The play didn't end when Beck got hit. The rest of them had to make sure to make the tackle to prevent a touchdown.
