Why would a Georgia fan call a former Georgia player trash? He stayed for five years, waited his turn, started for two seasons, suffered an injury and transferred for a large salary increase. Didn't break the law or even team rules as far as I know.

Locker room cancer. Flew to miami to be with the girl while team events were going on. Sideline demeaner and player interaction is very telling. The fact that he rolled on the ground like a little bitch and not a single player came to him is very telling.

All of this is message board scuttlebutt from a bunch of fans who didn't like the outcome and showed their arse. Same kind of personal character assassination Stetson Bennett put up with from probably the same subset of fans. Nobody's gonna be Mr. Personality when the fans are non-stop abusing them for team outcomes, especially when the team is winning at a 90% pace. And rolling on the ground after a serious and obviously painful injury doesn't make an athlete a "little bitch".
Some of you guys need a break from football. If Beck had a Heisman winning season, none of these insults would've been heard. This is all about performance and the unmet expectations of poor losers. When you're calling a player "human trash", or justifying it, because his performance didn't live up to your demands, then you've lost your perspective on the game.

Anyone with ounce of ability to read people and body language knows the type of dude carson beck is. He's a douchebag that is selfish but also a pussy that shrinks in the biggest moments and gets emotional. He has spent his whole life trying to be the cocky QB guy but deep down he knows and everyone else that can see it knows hes a soft, phony loser.
He talked shite about UGA and the coaches, he was a bad teammate...I have heard it directly from people on the team...he may do great in the NFL but it doesn't change the type of person he is.

BTW, you don't know what "white knighting" means. What I posted has very little to do with Carson Beck and everything to do with people who use the term "trash human", normally reserved for murderers and the like, to describe an athlete whose performance (and thus various and sundry personal characteristics) they find lacking.

He went against 4th string guys not even gonna be on the 53 man - also with the unwritten rule not to hit a QB
He's obviously got some talent, but he will not be successful in the NFL IMO. Time will tell, but his legacy will remain that he pussed out on his team chasing a few $ and a pussy that he lost anyway.
He was never a Dawg in my eyes. I don’t root for guys that leave our program for another like that. If a dude is 2nd, 3rd string and just didn’t develop here and leaves…I’ll still root for those guys. But frick Beck

Who ate the jam out of everyone’s doughnut? He was a very athletic kid who was homesick, missed his mom, and wasn’t mature enough to handle it. Sure, I’d have loved for things to have turned out differently, but to actively root against him? That’s another man’s son you’re shite talking on a message board. Chill the frick out.

We have people here who have zero perspective. You're planning to enter the draft, then at the very end of your 5th season in college, you frick up your throwing arm. All your plans are now in disarray. Your current team is equivocal about whether they'll pay you big bucks to come back with surgery looming, and another school begs you to come and offers $4 million bucks.
This is where the DawgRant brain trust would say, "Sorry, Miami, I'm gonna roll the dice and stay in Athens for a fraction of what you're offering." If that's your ideal mentality for a college football player, loyal to the bitter end even if the program doesn't reciprocate and large sums of money are at stake, I have bad news; your ideal college athlete doesn't exist.
