Beck will start. JT's been nursing this injury for a couple of weeks. He'll be fine but no need to push it vs UAB.

I would think Kirby would have Stetson waiting close by on the bench which is something no one really wants to see.
Fret not, dear boy! Our man is tanned, rested, and ready. Should duty call, you will not find him lacking. No sir. He will lead our chaps quite ably and give those other rapscallions a right good seeing-off.

Was thinking the same thing Rex. Oblique strain will definitely be painful in any form of twisting, especially loading into a long ball. Makes sense.
Or maybe because Clemson was dropping 7 and 8 guys in coverage most of the night.

Do we have a S&C problem ? Sure do have a LOT of injuries to key contributors...

I think it’s more that we go hard in practice which showed against Clemson; they had dudes tapping out left and right for stretches because we were blowing them up in both offense and defense. We were ready to bloody some noses but the side effect of that is guys getting banged up in practice

The Under on this game is getting really tempting

While I can understand based on the statement, you thought I was just talking about that game. But I was referring to the idea that it hurts to twist period, with an oblique injury. Not just in that specific game, but in practice, and in living in general…so throwing a long ball probably doesn’t feel the best.

Since it appears that most of the football analysts have now shifted their beliefs of how we ran the offense as to not put JT in jeopardy of getting hurt worse, I am rescinding my second statement and just going full on with my original comment.

Hopefully he get healthy before SEC play. JT puts the ball where the receiver can make a play on the ball.
Brock got some mad ups. He got up there, sheesh. He should have come down with the ball. That was a TD.

Anyone who remembers game 1 of the NLCS last year might recall how much pain Adam Duvall was in when he strained his oblique after hitting a foul ball. An oblique is a terrible place to get injured.

DN saying Stet, ESPN saying Beck with JT trying to get the coaches to let him play, feel like any one of us can be a source at this point. Dallas, what say you?
