Apparently suffered an oblique injury, maybe even before Clemson. MRI today.

I’m not questioning your credibility, but I’m not seeing it anywhere.

FWIW, Dash has said JT will play Saturday and that it's been an ongoing issue. Sat out yesterday as a precaution and expected to practice today.

Injury by returning starting QB in the first game? Potential for a breakout season by the backup? Elite defense and stable of running backs to help out? Smells like 2017.

ETA: Or maybe it's nothing and JT will be the one to lead us to victory.

I saw some posts on the other UGA boards but just rumors. I would imagine if true Beck starts. I would think Kirby would have Stetson waiting close by on the bench which is something no one really wants to see. Still Beck is most unproven.

Dawgs had a decent offense in 2017. Not so much lately.

Radi confirmed it and said he should practice today.

That may explain most of his short throws.

Was thinking the same thing Rex. Oblique strain will definitely be painful in any form of twisting, especially loading into a long ball. Makes sense.

So, I imagine UAB knows this, or soon will. Will they load up on the LOS?

The next 2 games Dawgs will run the ball like 2017.

Pretty sure they are going to air it out to work on things.

He’s had a strain since camp.

I mean sure, but they just averaged 4 yards a carry versus a solid defense. Outside of edge blocking from the WRs I think we're okay in the run game. We need to improve the passing game to make sure the run game stays open.

The question is, who isn’t injured on this team right now?
