South Carolina should have hired him for HC. Imagine hiring Shane Beamer over BMac.

Not ideal, but it’s not like we actually landed any of the elite guys he “got us in the conversation for”. We will be fine as we always are.

Who’s OSU WR’s coach? Hire him and make him passing game coordinator or some shite too.

Hartline isn’t leaving OSU but the melt from their fans would be worth paying the guy whatever he wants.

We should offer him and interview him just to rile them up.

He’s a legend there, but let’s make them pay up. Congrats to Hyan McClendon, DGD, and pursuing his dreams. Happy for him. Wish him well, and hope to see him again coaching for the Dawgs

My friend lives across the street from the BMac. His wife said he was fed up with recruiting, NIL, and the portal. I think we’re going to see more of this even though college coaches have greater job security than NFL coaches.

I don’t doubt it at all. College football fans are tired of it. Can only imagine how bad it must be to be a coach constantly chasing high school kids

How about Joe Cox to replace him? He's respected as a WR coach and has worked with some top Head Coaches.

Hines Ward is being mentioned a lot of different places. Wasn’t Terrence Edwards in the running when McLendon got the WR coach job?

Hines to my knowledge has basically zero experience. Terrence is at least coaching high school and through his TE WR academy would have deep roots when it comes to recruiting.

Hines was a head coach in one of those other football leagues; XFL, USFL, etc.

Edit: offensive assistant for New York Jets 2019-2020, WR coach at Florida Atlantic 2021 and HC of the San Antonio Brahmas in 2023.

Well clearly my knowledge wasn’t very extensive. Thanks.
