Honestly I'm ok with an unknown NFL type guy. How many knew who Todd Monken was before the hire? I know I didn't know who he was.

Finding the right fit is of the utmost importance

It's a win or go home game, why in the absolute frick are we playing conservative in the second half of the game?

Kirby specifically said it was playing aggressively to close out the first half that yielded the strip fumble that ND immediately converted into a TD.

It was a 6-3 game then. There's a difference between dumb aggression and necessary aggression. Your example is the former.

I mean I get the call and also see why it was a gamble.

It was u characteristic of Kirby to do a 4 step drop with a new qb and 35 secs on the clock

We just need to go ahead and fire them all so we can get new people we want to fire.

All you are explaining is the coaching position at all colleges and pro levels....

That's it in a nutshell, waiting to be fired ...

What does that tell you about fans?

C'mon Buck. You know as well as I do the offense is going in the wrong direction.

What would you do?

So what I would say is that there is nothings normal about HCs making $12million a year and Coordinators upwards of $2million and role players $500k.....

What does that say about fans?

Simple, win.

Kirby doesn't care how ihs players practiced yesterday, today, he is forward looking all the time.

I’d recruit or portal a left tackle that can protect QB and run block.

I’d reassess all our run blocking packages. Deep dive film on what worked and what didn’t and how other teams reacted to our formations.

I’d meet with each receiver that is staying. Address their entire game play. Blocks, audibles, options, catching… routes… are they getting open.

I’d pay Monken and dudes like him to consult on scheme, no matter who takes over at OC.

Is there any chance Bobo steps down? I just don't see it. I think we hit it right with Monken but I just don't know how many offensive gurus are waiting in line to come to UGA. Kirby has been staunch with running for the most part a pro style ball-control offense. It just seems like a dynamic OC may not see this as the place to go. The guy I would love to have is Buster Faulkner but Tech seems to have a pretty good program going and I think Buster would probably become a head coach before that.

Faulkner would be a nice add, but I think it would be a knee-jerk move. There's gotta be a young NFL or college OC/position coach who's shaking things up and doing more with less wherever he is.

That being said, if you notice Gunner was not running the offense like we’ve seen the past few years under Stet, and Beck. Gunner did not adjust at the line, check into different plays, etc..

Bobo had 3 weeks to prep Gunnar for a playoff game. Gunnar went 20-32 with a TD and no INTs. Not a bad performance. Frazier averaged 9.25 YPC on 4 carries and Etienne averaged 3.5 YPC on 11 carries. Maybe we had the wrong RB in the game. Where is Bobo to blame and not Kirby? The Bobo haters are just Stetson haters recycled.

I thought that pass to Smith got to him quick but was soft going into his hands. Impressed me.
