Laughable!!

I said this in 2008 and stand behind the statement.

CMB will never coach at or above his current level after leaving UGA

Why do you always say stupid shite? Not very smart, eh? Guarantee that he knows more about football than you ever will - and if not, then why aren't you coaching?

This. I'm a Bobo detractor and will freely admit he's called great games since Clemson. However there are half a dozen plays that could've scored during this series and this loss will end up biting us in the arse. It only takes one loss to eliminate yourself from contention so there's no need to shoot yourself in the foot.

I have a question....why do so many Dawg fans want to instantly shite in the pool after a big win with this nanny nanny boo boo bullshite. We all love big wins and pull for the dogs. I don't think its over the top to bitch about bad decisions that lead to losses in big games. Do you?

The South Carolina game was about as flawless as I've seen from a play calling standpoint

ok...i will admit that he is doing better...and that this season in particular is going well...but lets just say that i will place 2/3 previous LOSSES to USCe squarely on his shoulders....last year not so much...but 10 and 11...dude was calling PEEWEE football plays in those games against South Carolina...

Its just an opinion based on my observations.

Take it or leave it.

I commented yesterday that I believe he is doing much better. Much much better IMO. That said, let's not crown him king of the world.

Things are rarely as good or bad as they seem.

Tennessee: Gerald Jones 6 yd pass from Jonathan Crompton (Daniel Lincoln kick)
Georgia: Brandon Boykin 100 yd kick return (Blair Walsh kick)
Tennessee: Denarius Moore 33 yd pass from Jonathan Crompton (Daniel Lincoln kick)
Georgia: Blair Walsh 52 yd FG
Tennessee: Marsalis Teague 5 yd pass from Jonathan Crompton (Daniel Lincoln kick)
Georgia: Team safety
Tennessee: Daniel Lincoln 30 yd FG
Georgia: Bacarri Rambo 28 yd interception return (Blair Walsh kick)
Tennessee: Montario Hardesty 39 yd run (Daniel Lincoln kick)
Tennessee: Gerald Jones 51 yd pass from Jonathan Crompton (Daniel Lincoln kick)
Tennessee: Bryce Brown 1 yd run (Daniel Lincoln kick)

Also...there have been ALOT of games where our defense gets called out on the field after multiple 3 and outs (Clemson). I don't feel like looking it up but you guys know what I'm talking about.

This year he finally seems to have grasped that clock management is just as important as scoring. So, if we can just convince him to quit running Marshall up the gut (Clemson) and shitcan that 3rd and 25 draw play we'll be cooking with grease.

2011? The game where UGA scored 42 points, where Murray had 4 TD passes, where we had 436 total yards of total offense, where we had 23 first downs to Carolina's 15, where we missed a field goal, where we had two crushing fumbles, one for a defensive TD, where we had an interception and where we had a 62 yard fake punt scored against us?

GD!

Really?WTF do you call on 3rd and 25? I'm not
talking about a situation where the games on the line either. Is there some type of trick play
that you can pull outta your arse? Good God,
watch ANY game (NFL or college) once an a while and OBSERVE whats called in those situations. Most
of the time it's either said draw play or a short
pass to get out of the hole that your offense
has dug.

Oh, and I went back to the Clemson game and looked
at EVERY 3rd and long situation (3rd and 5+)
Guess how many times we ran the ball vs throwing?
TWICE vs 9 times throwing and on one of those runs we got a 1st down.

The closest path to the end zone is straight ahead.
But I was wondering why Quayvon or Hall didn't get a call on that series.

Actually, I think he's right because as long as Richt is at UGA Bobo will be the OC as well. I really don't think he'll take a head coaching job anywhere else besides UGA.

The fact that this thread exists is what is inherently wrong with Bobo. He shows flashes of brilliance and then he goes full retard. He's too inconsistent. That's why there are people on both sides of the fence with him. People that are happy with him are most likely "glass half full" kind of people. People who have problems with him are most likely "glass half empty" people.

The easiest answer would be what Miles did on the LSU game. That wasn't the last drive either. Do you really mean to tell me that you have no other potential ideas for that situation? How bout at least dumping it to somebody past the LOS....kind of like we did every play on the last drive.

Yes the sneaky draw on third and long can sometimes but a surprise but...c'mon man.

People that have a problem with him are people that hated him before and can't shake their issues with him. I mean hell, Joe Cox threw for 2,500 yards and 24 TD's. Fact is, some people have a preconceived notion about him and don't want to ever give him credit. He's been a GREAT offensive coordinator and has really come in to his own the past 3 years.

I really haven't had many games where I left mad at Bobo's job in the last few years, like WG said. Clemson I didn't think he did well at all but other than that he's doing very well. He's also coaching the equivalent of a Ferrari but he helped bring in the pieces so I'll give him that.
