Does he come back to try to rebuild his draft stock? Do we even want him back?

Seems like he is on a Fromm trajectory.

Think he will get drafted and be a top 100 pick so he probably should go, but another year wouldn't hurt. Not aware of who would be entering draft next year.

This year you have Sanders, Ewers, and who?

Doubt he stays though. I think there is friction between he and Bobo.

Honestly probably not. Beck is fantastic with an arsenal of weapons at both WR and RB and a stout OL but is a bit shakier when those luxuries aren't there. I do like his ceiling but I'll be interested to see what Rashada can do too as far as having some mobility to his game.

I think it's time for Beck to move on.
I feel that our offense could be so much more dynamic and effective with a fast dual-threat QB like we had in Stetson Bennett.
Beyond that, frankly Beck seems to have regressed in terms of vision and accuracy. He just doesn't seem to have that it factor that I would expect from the QB on a Kirby Smart championship level team.
Also, I think we will be more likely to recruit a high level quarterback if said recruit knows that Beck isn't returning aka recruits think there's a chance for them to start as true Freshmen.

A lot of QBs seem to have a regression the second year as starter because they're trying to improve upon the first year and things aren't clicking as well. Maybe that's what he's experiencing.

I remember when the same fans wanted Stet to move on after the 2021 season because he couldn’t win big games and he was going to sell insurance.

If he moves on, I hope Stockton either improves a whole bunch or someone behind him is better.

If he returns the backups leave and there’s no reason to believe he’d play better anyway.

Some even said it after the first national championship.

Yep, seems like Beck fits that MO.
And I am sure Kirby would be glad to have an experienced QB come back for another season.
I guess I'm biased because I prefer a dual-threat QB for college football.
I would love to see us get a 5* QB like Riola and see him develop in our offense as a dynamic championship level offense to match Kirby's championship level defenses.

The problem is if he does come back and he is still throwing a lot of PICs and making bad decisions, will the fans and the coaches put up with it.

Well, with Wily now committing, that guy from cali, and that 5* wr, he just may come back. His draft stock has tanked.

He would be a fool to come back. In hindsight, from his financial perspective, he should have left last year. Nothing is saying he doesn't get hurt if he stays and loses everything. There's an old saying, " A bird in the hand is worth 2 in the bush." It's very appropriate with regards to this scenario.

Yep, he went to his Dad's bad team, Nebraska.
The kid could have been a star at Georgia if he had been willing to wait his turn.

Bigger picture:
UGA is about recruiting potential NFL talent and THEN developing to put guys in the NFL that then pays dividends in recruiting on the back end.

Thus sticking with a Pro style offense and not a focus on a dual threat QB.

I think it's time for Beck to move on. He is in the Fromm area in 2 ways. He is looking at a 3rd or 4th round now. He seems to have the same problem Fromm had on a much bigger scale - losing his confidence. Fromm seemed to lack confidence in his press conferences in 2019. He was taking quite a bit of flack from UGA fans on social media and he wasn't having near as bad of a season as Beck. He decided to go to the NFL and just spend time as a backup QB, make some money, new teammates, and gain from the experience. I think the pressure of being starting QB at a major school like UGA can wear on a kid. Stetson was really cocky and in a good way; he decided to come back and prove a point. I just don't see that swagger with Beck. Fromm is now in year 5 as a backup QB and seems to be doing pretty well. I think most of the fans want Beck to move on and Beck knows this.

but yah, hindsight, he would have been a 2nd rounder last year and maybe a 1st rounder. I don't think coming back can tank his draft stock any worse. I think he's 4th or 5th round now. Maybe some NFL team thinks they can work with him and get him a sports psychologist.
