"We followed tylerdurden24's nutrition regimen prior to our tests. With a careful dosing of Waffle House omelets followed by three-day old bean and cheese burrito from the Taco Stand and three cups of Jittery Joe's Coffee, he was able to achieve an acceleration of 10,000 m/s^2. With a mass of 2lbs, that results in 9kN of Force. That's the same as the bite force of a full grown alligator!"

"The closest NFL comparable according to our test came from Vince Wilfork after Taco Bell released their Doritos Locos tacos. During testing, Wilfork shattered all data-recording devices, but we can assume with 97% certainty that tylerdurden24 came very close to matching that performance."

"The fecal deposit or 'poojectile' exited his rectum with such force that it can for all intents and purposes be classified as 'lethal'."
ETA: This is the kind of shite (no pun intended) that the Falcons draft has brought about. Poop jokes.

I was prepared to defend us from your baseless hate. I really would've done a ton to made it happen. Would've been incredible and now they're saying if he was around later they'd consider trading up to get him and that makes it hurt more.

This guy gets it. The jags aren't leaving and shad has and will continue to invest a ton into the team. We've gotten rid of that dumb arse gene smith and we are going to get better

We are growing stronger by the day. You know what needs to be done. We have Dawgs, we have pools, we drafted an end whos actually good.
Plus, you get to use this .gif all the time. . .
That could factor into my decision.

I'm ok with the pick...just telling you what the "experts" consider his weakness.
FWIW... John Theus took his lunch money last year vs UGA & the few occasions #71 whiffed TGIII ran thru him...

Yep! Pretty much nonexistent versus us last year.

At the 4:53 mark of that video, he tries to tackle Gurley high and if anything, Gurley speeds up through the tackle

Some of these mofos are sounding like 8th graders because the Falcons didn't pick their favorite player. The team had to select a guy to address a weakness that's been problematic going on half a decade now.
Now I believe you go for difference makers in the 1st and TG is that but this is a deep RB class. I can see them going with Conley in the 3rd, lord knows Roddy is aging badly.
As for Beasley, he's a reach and they should've traded down.

I couldn't GAS less that the Falcons didn't draft TGIII. The Falcons coulda/shoulda drafted down to at least the 15-20 range & got a decent 1st rounder plus maybe a 2nd & 4th or 5th this year or a 1st & 2nd this year & a 2nd next year, VB was a reach at 8 IMO but the talking heads I listened to today said this was Quinns pick & he thinks he can mold him into something special....

I didn't necessarily want Gurley, but I also didn't want to draft Beasley at 8. I would have liked to have traded down and added another 3rd round pick, maybe a 2nd round if we traded back to mid 20's. I agree that defense needs to be addressed, but I don't think Beasley is the answer.

You guys realize that it takes trade partners to move down, right? Everyone can say "The Falcons shoulda traded down and got more picks," but in reality no one knows if anyone even wanted to trade up to our spot or even if they did, what they offered might not have been enough.

Absolutely, but it doesn't change the fact that I'm not a fan of the Beasley pick. I understand the why, just don't like the who.

A guy with better college stats and measurables than Von Miller is a "reach".
Where did you guys get your armchair GM badges from? A fricking Crackerjack box?
Beasley has a mediocre game against a good UGA OL and the best RB in the country in the first game of the season, and you guys think he sucks. Even though he dominated every other team he played the rest of the season and most of his sacks and TFL's came against power-5 conference teams.
Just stop it already.

Why don't you like him? What are you using as evidence to insist he's a reach or not worth the pick? And who would you have picked?

He dominated 7-6 SCe & 8-5 Oklahoma...Those 2 games were 15% of the season, the other 9 games were 85% of the season...
36% of his 28 solo tkls & 30% of his ttl tkls were in those 2 games...10/28(5/gm)...18 in the other 11 games(1.6/gm)...
25% of his sacks were in those 2 games... 3/12(1.5/gm)... 9 in the other 11 games(.8/gm)...
29% of his TFL were in those 2 games... 6/21(3.0/gm)... 15 in the other 11 games(1.3/gm)...
