A couple weeks from now marks a year ive been opiate free. The longest ive gone in 20 yrs. A little over a year ago i was on 140mg of methadone on top of about a half gram of serious dope a day. It can be done

Ive watched several people die in front of me. Pissed away a grotesque amount of money. broken my mothers heart repeatedly. Been to rehab 7 times. got loaded with a country music singer. spent 6 weeks in kennestone ICU in 2016. have redlined almost a dozen times. Twice in new Orleans. threw up in front of jimmy carter one time

Ask me anything. Ill be 100% honest

What’s worse?
Sucking a dick for heroin or knowing you sucked a dick for heroin?

Well it was your mothers dick, so it raised uncomfortable questions. About my personal preferences a ambitious penchant for elderly women with gordita sized clitorises

How many times have you known, deep down inside, you were dying, and accepted it, this is the end, seen the light, only to have it not be the end?

How many farewell letters have you written, only to retract them later, dig them out of your drawer, or fannypack, or wherever a junkie keeps his suicide letter. ?

And how has that shaped you as the degenerate you are today?

How did it all start? Was there an injury or surgery involved?

I can add to the list of fricked up things you've done.... remember when I got you in contact with that Dr who post here and the reason of the your concern?

All bullshite aside, I'm really proud of the ya man. I know it's not easy and you have to be 100% committed to saying clean for it to work our. 99% wont cut it, that 1% will get you every time. I'm a little over 2 years clean now and life is great. First few months were hell though, my withdrawals were extreme and it was just from booze. Can't imagine how bad yours were. I was on pain pills pretty steady for 8-9 months I wasn't hurt just took em for fun. But man did I hurt like hell when I got off em.. once again, congrats my kneegrow.

I'm a big time lurker here and I remember the ICU deal. Glad you are good. On a side note, the things you have written here are pure gold and as a literary type I'd love to see them published.

Once you reach the year mark, will you be allowed to legally adopt monteg?

Going a year without is admirable. Keep it up. I have never been where you are but hope you win this battle.

My only comment is why didn't you puke on Peanut Jimmy instead of in front of him? Was your aim bad because you were high?

How do you feel about prescription drug abuse and big Pharm?

Are you really an ex junkie or a recovering junkie? You need to be honest with yourself, before you can be honest with us.

Good luck on your path. I hope God gives you the strength and wisdom to guide your life on the golden path the remainder of your time on Earth.

Did you start using because of Goff, Donnan or Richt? (or all or some combination of the three)

Congratulations on your sobriety and I hope you are able to stay clean and live a long and fruitful life.

While I’m glad that you are healing your body, what are you doing for your soul? Have you considered that this life—even a long one by our standards—is short compared to eternity and that our sins put us at enmity with God? If so, have you put your trust in Jesus Christ as the healer of both the body and the soul and the only one who can reconcile us to a holy God who cannot even look upon our sins?
