Always practice harder than play in games. Common sense dictates.

How much?? Oh, you don’t know shite.
They could’ve been in shells in WR breakout drill running a stop route and planted awkwardly and broke his leg. He coulda just jumped up for a ball above his head and landed awkwardly and broke his leg.
You can’t just stop fricking practicing….even if this ends up being a DB going low to tackle…you can’t stop practicing

So many leg/ankle/feet injuries. I wonder why some of the reporters aren’t pressing Kirby more about that. It just seems to be beyond coincidence at this point.

What area of the body is the most common area of injury in football?

This is why kirby recruits like a fiend.

Jesus Christ.
Would you rather they not practice at all? B/c that's where this happened. Practice. Injuries happen in practice.
Don't be a moron.

So you're a pu**y. Thanks for confirming for the rest of us.

Just for kicks, I looked at the roster. This has been 2021 as far as our 11 WRs on scholarship:
Injured for a significant part of 2021 season:
George Pickens - ACL
Jermaine Burton - knee hyperextension, then groin
Dom Blaylock - ACL, then hamstring
Justin Robinson - hamstring
Kearis Jackson - MCL
Arian Smith - ankle, then shin, then leg fracture
Arik Gilbert - mental health/personal
Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint - knee dislocation, then ankle
Not yet injured:
AD Mitchell
Jackson Meeks
Ladd McConkey
So only 3 WRs out of 11 on scholarship have been healthy throughout this season. All three are true or RS freshmen. All three were overlooked prospects (3 star at most). All three have had an impact with so many other WRs injured.
Going into UT: Smart says that Pickens and Blaylock still will not play but we do have 6 healthy:
K. Jackson, Burton, Rosemy-Jacksaint, AD Mitchell, McConkey, and Meeks.
In addition: The walkon Jaylen Johnson has made a few catches. Brock Bowers is basically a big WR - this guy has really helped offset the WR injury issue. Justin Robinson still "questionable" with hamstring.

So you want someone to ask why injuries happen in practice?
Some of you aren't that bright.

McConkey is technically a RS freshman, not a true freshman.

Forgot he came in 2020.. Actually forgot he was even on the team until he got thrown in and started making a lot of catches. corrected

No other team comes close in terms of injuries. Look it up.
Why don't you just give us the link where you looked it up? I have no idea where to find that information.

I do think we need to seriously start evaluating why all our receivers are hurt all the time. This is a multi-year trend.

Today is Thursday… you typically are not in full pads on Thursday. Likely a plant or tangled up legs deal. Sucks.
