Fwiw, what I heard is that Schotty and Pruitt absolutely can't stand each other. At least one of them will be gone after the season is over. Pruitt wants to win at all costs and feels like the rest of the program is ok with mediocrity, but he occasionally steps his boundaries in trying to win.
I know that's not a ton of specific info, but I'm pretty confident it's good.

Agreed. Losing games or having problems with your OC/QB are one thing.....but ongoing rumors about the internal workings of the program being a shitshow with Jerry Springer type stuff....that'll be the end.
And, if CMR doesn't have the strength of personality to put an end to this or deal with it...if any of it's true - then it should be the end. Some of his reponses to interviews over the last few days have been totally detached - as if he's looking at this as a disinterested observer. I know alot of that is coach speak but damn...

Who would've thought a DC that's putting out a fairly decent product would dislike an OC that turns his work into a steaming pile of shite by keeping on the field for 52 minutes per game? The Richt apologists and Pruitt haters don't want to see this. They fail to grasp the simple concept that the longer your O can keep possession and actually SCORE the better your defensive product is going to be. Just like when the D gets a big stop that supports the O with some momentum going into their next drive.
And I still believe in the old adage that offense sells tickets, defense wins championships.

There's some truth to this, but if the other team's defense can come up with 3 and outs to get off the field, ours should too.
