Anybody ever been to a game at Tech?

I’ve never been there but am thinking of going this year. Any recommendations on parking and buying a decent ticket with Tech having a losing record there should be some up for grabs.

Last time I went was '97 when Bobo brought 'em back to win with a last minute drive. Sat with the students in the end zone in full UGA garb but they left us alone. Probably good for them that they did.
I always hear people parking across 75 and then walking North Ave. to the stadium.

we park on the same side of 75 as the stadium...and we are fine...even left it parked there and walked to the Varsity and back after the game.

We went in 2011 and parked in the deck diagonally across the Connector, right behind the BP station. Seething, butthurt nerds notwithstanding, it really is a breeze to get in and out of on game day.

Tons of parking along Spring or W. Peachtree between North Ave and 10th. Usually around $30.
Tix are another story, prolly around the BP across from the Varsity. They won't be easy just cause of the sheer number of Dawgs who'll be looking for them. JMO.

It's fun if you have friends / live in Metro ATL. Get wings / food at cypress then walk across the bridge to the stadium area. You're going to pass a bunch of tailgates and what not.

The pizza at GoodFella's across from the Varsity is pretty good, IIRC.

I went to the 2013 UGA/GT game there. It was great seeing their hopes get crushed in overtime!

If you get there early enough the Varsity is absolutely the main dawg spot. It's like 95% uga people and a sea of red, short walk over 75 to the stadium as well. Not sure how early you need to get there before it's full and can't remember the cost but I feel like it's usually got spots on the lower end (like walking away from the restaurant building) pretty late into the morning.

I saw Tech vs Navy a long time ago.
It felt like a high school environment.

Been to the last 3. Across 75 will be like a UGA home game this year. We always tailgate with some GT friends of ours that have a really nice spot next to the arena. Their fans are great for the most part and honestly, it will have more Red this year then ND % wise. Also, I hope we let them wear their shite White at home so we can wear our Red instead of them wearing that ugly gold with our whites. Go dawgs!!!

Heeeeeell no. Tailgate right near the Varsity with the thousands and thousands of UGA fans, then walk over. I promise, it will feel like a UGA home game tailgating over there this year.

Try to get tickets early. I've had a couple of friends buy tickets close to game time, and they were already used. Tech students use the tickets to get in (they're scanned), and then they'll throw them out to their friends to scalp. So when you try to get in, it shows that the ticket has already been used and you're screwed.

Always ask a scalper to walk you to the gate. If its worth their money and they are legit tickets, there will be no issue with it
