Hear me out.

We also had a ton of injuries halfway through the year who will come back.

Georgia lost a lot today, but it’s not as bad as it looks.

We have a shite ton of talent still.

Here is why.

A TON of Freshman and Sophomores ended up starting in the ending half of the season.

A lot of Seniors lost their jobs.

If you look up Georgia’s depth chart it doesn’t look great, but most of those guys don’t even start anymore.

I underlined any player who earned the starting job halfway through this season.

I really only think we lack at receiver, just because of the youth.

Please keep discussions civil

Never hampered Bama from scoring TDs, Outside Bama and Ohio St we have talent other teams wish for. My only concern is coaching.

Nice breakdown, thanks. I was too lazy to do this today. I appreciate it.

Who will emerge as our leaders in 2019?

I believe Dean will take over Rice's position.

2019 was suppose to be “the year”. Today set us back at least two years if ever.

Oh thank goodness on Holloman. I thought he was a SR this year. Great to know he will be back next year.

No it didn’t

We are in much better shape next year than we were at the beginning of 95pct of Mark Richts teams.

Set at QB
Set at RB
We got some knowns and a few unknowns at receiver
Wr - wr about to see what Drob and the new guys can do.
OL - set
DE - we fine
DT - fine
OLB - fine
MLB - fine
CB - Young but good
Safety - good

We should win a ton of games next year.

Regarding Charlie Woerner, he's actually an inch taller than Nauta, and listed as 5 pounds heavier. He's as much of a potential mismatch as anyone else on the team. Big thick white boy that can take a lick and hold on to the ball. He's going to go from Charlie Who? to Charlie MF Woerner next year and possibly win the Best Tight End award and go in the first round of the draft.

Including the NCCG. We have a ton of talent coming next year. One DGD that I am going to miss next year is Gaillard as our center. Will be interesting to see who Kirby replaces him with.

Regarding Charlie Woerner,

He’s not the beat blocker in the world but he can do some things as a reciever. Will be interesting to see if Goede or Fitzpatrick push him for playing time. If Luke Ford stayed I have to imagine he would be getting lots of reps. Wish he wasn’t homesick.

He was homesick because he has a close family member on their deathbed. Kid wanted to be with his family which is completely understandable.

So far, when G has been hurt, it has been Trey Hill, freshman, 4 star, #3 OL in the country in last year's class.

Let's face it, Nauta wasn't the best blocker in the world either.

Yeah, but you got to admit, he is one hell of a TE and will do well in the NFL.

I know you probably just don't want to clutter up your list, but my understanding is that Plumlee is the more exciting QB prospect (if he doesn't choose baseball), although it is Mathis you have listed. Also, Stetson Bennett coming back is huge because it gives us a quality scout team QB as well, something we didn't have this year.

In the wide receiver category, you didn't list three others: Matt Landers (6-5, 218, rising soph); Trey Blount (6-2, 200, rising junior) and Tyler Simmons (6-0, 200, rising senior).

So we're really in pretty good shape. Blaylock and Tongue are really big adds, obviously. Tongue could wind up playing another position but is an exceptional athlete who wants to see how it goes as a WR.
