You want to know what a block is? Well, that block hurts. Football is a rough sport. As a skinny kid in highschool I received a few of those blocks, they're no fun. Next play having
to line up against the same guy who bigger/stronger, much less fun.

Look, I realize you never were able to get on the field to play ball because you were always the "hurt" kid with your arm on the sling looking good in your jersey, so you're naturally envious of people who were tough enough to play sport.

Tell us, based on your experience and knowledge how that play was not "just football".....

No, I definitely believe at some point the QB should cease being considered a defenseless player, just not sure Murray had reached that point when he got blasted.

Was that after he threw an interception and attempted to make a tackle?

No, but it was right after he threw a pass. According to some Bama logic, it could have been picked off and Ogletree was trying to make a block on him just in case he was the last one to make a tackle and push someone out.

Oh great, I am getting a football lecture from a skinny kid who " played a little high school ball".... That is rich...

You are the one who said it was just football... Expand on that... Explain how your years of high school ball taught you that what that player did was just football...

I really want to learn from you....

You're making a horrible attempt to compare the two. Do you really not understand once a QB throws a pick(change of possession), that he becomes a potential player?

Just stop. Again, this is not a UA vs. UGA issue. It's a football issue. At the end of the day, UGA lost the game, and it's over. This rule will not change that games outcome.

Why can't you get that both hits were illegal? I don't know why anyone would defend a dirty play. It doesn't matter what position Aaron Murray was playing, it was a cheap shot and per NCAA rules should have been an unnecessary roughness penalty. It's just funny that some of you **** Bama fans take time out of your day from fricking your kin to come on another team's board just to talk shite about a cheap shot.

Well Pete, it's actually pretty simple. Once Murray threw the interception there was a change of possession. Once that happened he became a tackler, and Dial became blocker. Dial performed a block.

I've got to head out of the office, but please tell me how the wasnt a "block". Btw, it wont change the outcome of the game sorry.

I hope your arm gets better.

This is football we're talking about here, not tennis. Every player that straps on a helmet knows there's an inherent risk of taking a hit like that. As I mentioned before, every QB out there knows that if you throw a pic you need to keep your head on a swivel, and if you dont want to take that chance then don't even pretend to make a tackle. That's just football 101.

Bammer fans bitch and whine about every tackle or block on every Bammer player, so this type of bitching and whining is typical. Had the play been reversed the Bammers would have taken the wheels off their double-wides, put them on one of the rusty bread truck/motor homes in the front yard, and paraded to SEC HQ in protest.

Do you not have something better to do on a Friday than trolling another team's board about a clearly dirty shot?

No. But Bammer fans generally know less about the game than most other fans. Most can't even describe properly the Bama offense.

I think the irony in all of this is some skinny pussy who could barley play high school ball is highly concerned about the pussification of a sport he was too big of a pussy to play...

Or understand...

Welcome to the year 2013, bro.. I joined last year.

Well, if I had any question if UGA fans were upset about that block, I guess I answered that.

As I posted many times in this thread, this isnt a UA/UGA issue, the issue is changing the rules of football. Some posters ITT can't even discuss if the new rule is right or not, all they can focus on is Dial being a meany to Murray.

Obviously emotions are still running very high from that game.

I'm finally getting out of the office, have a great weekend fellas.
