Hey Pete, a few people said you use to play for UGA? I've got a few buddies who use to play as well. I just told one of them I was talking to a former player. I also tried to get them to post in here, but he just texted back and said "Na man, that's a fan thing and dude probably isnt a former player". I laughed, but he wanted to know who you are. So who are you Petey? What years did you play. All the guys I know played from 01-09.
I'll get one of them to read this tread sometime this week.

I'm guessing the first pick is David Green? I'm not sure who 95 is. So he's two people? I guess it's an inside joke. Pretty obvious I guess. Pete sounds exactly like my 14 year old cousin, and with his "hey guys... I just want to make it clear that this guy is a pussy...right guys?" The collegiate players I know don't go on message boards tryin to look tough, and gain popularity points while coming off as insecure.
Like my buddy said message boards are a "fan thing".

Dude, you are the one who said you were a pussy.... Remember? You were too skinny and got beat up by big mean HS football players... Yet, in the same thread, you state you are upset about the pussification of the sport. No matter how many friends who may or may or have played football at UGA or wherever you claim, it will not change the fact that the irony of your tirade is rich... Look man, I'm not here to ruin your message board persona, but inquiring minds want to know who you are. I showed my buddy the thread last night, and he said the samething I did.
I'm pretty sure I can get him to post in here if you use to play with him. I would be pretty cool to have two former players go at it in here. I won't say his name unless he says it's ok, but you probably know him, played AAU Bball with him back in the day, played for UGA in the 2000's, now works in Atlanta with vendors for Phillips, and the Dome. What years did you play? Prove him wrong that message boards arent "just a fan thing".

I am not mad, nor am I stating that your opinion in reference to the sport of college football becoming pussified is not valid. I am, however, saying it is ironic that someone who admits they were too much of a pussy to play high school football is worried about college football getting that way.
I also noted that Murray has proven that on the field, he is a tough dude. He has gotten up after a lot of violent hits and has continued to play, so any inference that Murray in any way is responsible for the pussification of the sport is non factual.
If you want to ask your football player friend a question, ask him if that was a block or an opportunity to knock the piss out of a QB during a live ball and that it was an illegal hit based on the rules at the time of the play, not just since the the rule was announced...
