These last few years and upcoming years have been heavy change for the SEC and college football. I think there are good and bad adding 9 games. I think most fans want to see more competitive games, but it does make the SEC disproportionately more difficult than other conferences. With the SEC's performance in bowl and playoff games, we can't really say we had the toughest conference this year. Still lot of that could be the result of playing a tough SEC schedule.

Winning the natty and losing to GT and SECG is better than that scenario.

Two losses isn't going to leave much room for error in capturing the title.

How about having to suck cock, but still winning the Natty?

You've given me a lot to think about. What kind of cock, and how long would said person have to suck it?

It benefits us and more levels the playing field (and Florida and Oklahoma and Texas too).
It helps anyone NOT in the SEC.

Championships don’t rig themselves, you know.

Speaking of rigged, how does it feel knowing Tom Osborne gave you a 1/2 Natty because he didn’t want to vote for a rival?

Listen bud… you have to have a killer instinct. You either want to win a Natty or you don’t want to do what it takes… and you settle for non cock sucking mediocrity. If sucking cock is what it takes to win a Natty, you don’t ask what size, you open your mouth and you start sucking. That’s what a real man and fan will do, so their favorite sports club wins it all. It’s about making the sacrifices to win.

This may change recruiting strategy some, and the portal will definitely get a lot more interesting.

For some… some will suck the cocks necessary for being elite cocksuckers and Champions. It’s not gay if you win a Natty.

Definitely increases the heartbreak factor for the losing team
Posted on 1/28/26 at 11:22 am to FaCubeItches
Really, if you don’t suck enough cocks to win, you already lost and have settled for mediocrity.

Geez, so technique, talent, and enthusiasm count for nothing, only volume matters. How is the coaching staff ever going to teach the players to take pride in their work? To paraphrase General Patton: God, how I hate the 21st Century.

It's really not much different than the old way. Kirby liked scheduling an out of conference game aginst a Power 5 opponent. The only reason we haven't done it in the last few years is future scheduling uncertainty.
Old way – 2 cupcakes + 8 conference games + Power 5 out of conference game + Tech
New way – 2 cupcakes + 9 conference games + Tech
The new way ensures that we don't only have 3 conference games in Sanford Stadium half the time.
Also, the SEC isn't what it was a few years ago and the talent is more spread out across the country. Who are all these physical powerhouses that are going to send all our players to the hospital?
Therefore unequivocally with the metrics presented, I don't see how it could be argued unequivocally and without prejudice and malice forethought that it's a whole hell of a lot different in terms of the data presentation hence thereforth

It’s hard for me to buy in the the “gauntlet” anymore.
USF > Fla
Fla State > Bama
Va > Mizz
Illinois > Tenn
Memphis > Arkansas
Houston > LSU
ND > Ark
Miami > A&M
Iowa > Vandy
Louisville > Kentucky
I just don’t think the SEC is the big bad wolf anymore.

The gauntlet is real.
The difference, besides NIL and transfer portal issues, is that the Big 6 is a little weaker than in previous years. The strength is in the parity of this league. I've never seen 1 thru 16 as even as it's been the last 3-4 years.

Obviously. We're talking about a change of 1 game, or less than 10% of our schedule. But that one small change makes quite a big difference. It's impossible to ignore that switching out NW Arkansas Tech for LSU or Texas instead is a pretty giant difference.

I don't really care about this.

well, we lost our All SEC caliber center against a middling ga tech team. so it happens. Injuries can happen at any time, it's kind of a weird made up argument to say that playing vastly superior competition won't have any affect on our overall health.

nobody has ever made an argument about the degree of "difference" until you, just now. What has been discussed which you chose to ignore was the change in difficulty, which is objectively true and undeniable.

Who's to say we wouldn't have gone back to the old way and schedule OOC home-and-homes or playing in the Aflac Kickoff game if the 9-game SEC scheduled hadn't have been approved?
