Offense is a concern that early in the season along with place kicking.

We took Rodrigo for granted along with his ability to boom kickoffs into the endzone.

Ask me in August. Way too many variables to consider this far out. Need to get everyone to campus and see who picks up on the new system

This... let's at least get a naked eyeball assessment on G-Day, particularly the QBs and WRs before we start guessing on the Bama outcome.

I'm not sure G day will give us much of an assessment of the offense. Justin Robinson (who I really like) is the only new WR on campus, and the new/old QB's and old receivers will still be reeling trying to absorb Monken's scheme. Throw in a mostly new starting OL vs an experienced defense and it could be an uninspiring offensive performance. Summer and fall camp are critical for this offense getting ready for the season. I hope they've blocked May through August off their social schedule.

Not high. I don’t think the offense will have had time to gel by then. I think the D keeps us in it but a highly productive offense with all the changes would be a pleasant surprise that early.

Should be clicking by Jacksonville though...

We win! Early enough to have no injuries. A couple of games to get clicking. Alabama and Auburn done early next year. And only UF has an open week before us this year.

People act Bama is bringing back Tua. Is anyone really afraid of Mac Jones? Their defense also was not very good last season. They have a ton of question marks and it's a very winnable game. For first time they do not have a noticeable talent advantage. Should not have a significant coaching advantage either. Our OC is equal to theirs and our DC is better than theirs.

No excuses. They lose games every year. Time for one of them to be UGA. This is first time going into a season in a LONG time that they are not a top 2 team or heavy favorite to win it all.

I think we take an L, then re-match in SECCG for a W.

They were racked by injuries and started multiple freshman.

Their defense will be much better.

To see some folks talk of it, we may as well not even play the damned game.

13 TDs and 2 INT in 4 starts. 211.58 passer rating. He’s decent

We were missing 4 starters for the majority of the season.

Anybody think CBS makes this part of a doubleheader so it's an 8PM kick?

Seems like it'd be either Georgia @ Bama or Bama @ LSU this season.

My guess it it will be 3:30. Bama/LSU will probably be 8pm but the Tigers will be down this season so it's certainly possible we get the night slot. I think it would be cool for the WLOCP to get the night game.

Was anyone afraid of Greg McElroy? Or Coker? Or sims? Just bc they are downgrading at qb doesn't mean they're going to fall off a cliff, they'll still be a machine as long as saban is there.

They will be in the top 3 and favored to win the sec.

They may be favored, but not by much and no one would be shocked if they don't win it. According to the betting line UGA is right behind in best odds win the national championship.

The days of mediocre QBs in conservative offenses winning championships are over so not sure why you brought up those guys. Bama does not dominant talent advantage over every team any more where a game manager is enough. Please let make Jones be Coker. He seems a bit better than that though.

Alabama fans don't think we score more than 13. Big talk for a defense that sucked. Also already talking about playing Young. They have no faith in Mac Jones.

Newman to Pickens on deep post routes... sheesh... good luck. I also think D-Rob will benefit from the new offense as well.

Good luck to any linebacker covering Cook...

Monken will show how an all-purpose back should be used. Cook has been criminally underutilized so far. We are lucky he didn't transfer. People think he is overrated because he didn't excel in our antiquated offense are dead wrong. Get him space and no front 7 defender can handle him.
