7 - 0 is nice but I live to beat UF! I loathed the Spurrier years. Anytime we beat UF it’s sweet.

I want to remain unbeaten and remain relatively humble. Hope the team isn’t feeling like the fans here. Richardson for UF is MUCH better than Emory Jones. If we can’t put him on his arse and have him running for his life, our secondary will give up some plays.

He is not MUCh better. He has better size and a better arm, but still has accuracy and field reading issues. He has a better upside I will say, but less speed than the other guy.

Fair enough. He DOES make a lot more plays. And their offense just seems to run in a different gear with him in the game.

I’m feeling better about UF this year after watching that mess of a game at LSU. Richardson adds a much better running option but he’s prone to mistakes in the passing game, just like Jones is (I think they both threw 2 INTs).
Our defense continues to dominate the run game. If we can contain Richardson much like we did Nix and force him to have to throw all game, I like our chances (and if they play Jones, even better). Secondary may give up some points but I don’t think UF is going to slow our offense down much. LSU’s Tyrion Davis-Price had 287 rushing yards against Florida (go figure he broke Herschel’s old record of 238 against UF). Not saying we will rush for that much against UF since they always bring their A-game to Jax, but if we stay balanced on offense like it looks like we can… dawgs all the way.

Also, food for thought: UF gave up 49 points to LSU. We’ve given up 46 for the whole season.
