Side note: UML has a brutal start to the season. 4 games at Arizona, 3 games at Georgia, 3 games at UNC

If anything has impressed me after 5 games it’s 1. Hancock as a Friday starter and 2. How well the entire batting order is contributing. What we are lacking in power we are making up for in everyone getting on base and that’s exactly what we need to see. Defense has also been superb

Has 5 of 7 batters K’d today. He and Hancock are looking like bona fide SEC starters to this point. Need a solid #3 to emerge which is Proctor by default for now

Locey gives up 2 more runs but gets himself out of the jam and has struck out 10 today

Last time I saw UGA ragdoll it’s opponents like this was 2009 when we were ranked #1 for a good portion of the first half of the season.

We are hitting, fielding, and pitching well which is just so damn refreshing to see out of a once proud program

ETA: And Stricklin will almost certainly find a way to frick it up and therefore deserves to be fired
