Problem is its the transfer portal. They are not going to sign a hs player this year and we may not be done losing players. A lot of what the transfer portal is to fill slots for the next year. Thats why its called roster management. To take a flyer on a possible guy that could play wr/cb or s is not a bad idea. Maybe he comes in and is depth and maybe he comes in and shines. Maybe he comes in for a year and leaves next year. Its not rocket science though.

Based on performance, and statistics, and all the draft rankings have him between 100 and 120 which is the 4th round. But mostly because I say so.

Mel Kiper has him as the 22nd best player in the draft and currently averages about 67 - which is roughly top of the 3rd round.

Did we watch the same games this year? And I’ve seen more recent draft rankings put him in the first and second round.

Branch declares. I don't see him going higher than third or fourth round.
I think he could go higher than that. However, I think his “salary” could have been nearly matched to stay. I don’t really want to think about Georgia’s offense in 2025 without him.

Branch is definitely moving on up. A mid second round pick gets about 8 million in guaranteed money. You wouldn't have to ask me twice.

I don't think NFL draft is a quick decision.

Iif he is going, in sure it's because he has heard in good faith money awaits.

So far, so good on players leaving. Ole Miss has 2 portal entries so far, because they're still playing. We have 7. Texas A&M has 10. Everybody else in the SEC has at least 17.

I appreciate what he did. He was solid in pass pro but he’d been on campus for like 3 years and still was only shoutout 295-300 so he struggled run blocking. In other words, I doubt he was starting next year unless there are injuries. Can’t blame a backup for transferring.

Couldn't add enough weight and too light in the arse would probably be the prevailing narrative.

The #1 offensive tackle in the portal is from Valdosta. Valdosta's coach also coached Qauy Walker in high school.

Wont make it to the third, Zero chance he's around in the 4th.

Dillon Bell & Colbie Young both made their goodbye messages on IG.

Both out of eligibility anyway, yes?

Matt Zenitz put in Crystal Balls for UGA to get WR Isiah Canion from GT and S Ja’Marley Riddle from East Carolina.

Also, sounds like we are in good shape with WR Tre Richardson from Vandy.
