These games are like the majors.

The super regional was like Nintendo.

Most wins in program history and a guaranteed top 4 finish.

Still have Scott, Farley, and Brown and Byrd can come back in a closer situation.

Damn guys. Never paid much attention to college baseball but this has been a helluva ride.

We need some juice tomorrow night. Maybe this will wake those bats up. Need to perform an exorcism on Jackson.

See you tomorrow. My liver might not survive this.

I arrive at Exuma at 2:00 tomorrow. Looking forward to catching tomorrow’s game after getting groceries and a few hours of beach time!

At this point, our best defense would be good offense. Jackson needs to wake up but so too does half our lineup.

Great baseball game last night! Pitchers dual at it's best!
Let's go Dawgs!

Pulling from WVU today. We need those 2 teams to play both games to be worn down to play whoever makes it out to the finals.

GO DAWGS!!!!!!!!

Games today and tomorrow. Then Saturday, Sunday, and maybe Monday.

I'd assume Volchko goes Thursday and maybe Monday if there is a game 3? Aoki should pitch Saturday and Vigue pitches Sunday. Who pitches tonight?

Probably Farley.
OU is throwing another freshman with limited action. I don't know WTF is wrong with our hitting this entire tournament but today would be a great one to wake up. Start hitting again like I know we can and get Volchko back for tomorrow and I'm feeling good.

Our arms are going to be totally shot by the championship series though lol. Good problem to be in I suppose.

I thought we would feast on OU’s closer. We’re just in a funk.

Statistically, we are due an offensive explosion.... DJ, Phelps, Hudson, Shaggy, Branch are all due big games at the plate.

I would also like to point out that we are playing post season pitching and not the normal guys that get thrown against us in the season... The wind has also blown in. Not sure you can hit a HR in that park with the wind blowing in hard there.... So I wish we would concentrate on basehits.

Gotta throw the best arms available these next two days, figure out the championship series if we get there lol

Really hoping there’s just no way our lineup stays this quiet again tonight, especially if we’re going up against a freshman again. Have to see some line drives instead of all the pop ups.

honestly that's what's even more head scratching. In a normal season series we're facing a team's undisputed 1-3 starters and their best closers. In a tourney format like this we're getting deep into the rotation and may or may not see the better closers (with TX for instance their lights out closer didn't throw against us in game 1).

I fully agree on that. With as ice cold as our bats have been I'm tired of seeing us either swing out of our shoes tryhing to hit one to Lincoln or just watching 93 mph fastballs right donw the plate for strikes.

Just swing for contact and get people on base for crying out loud.

Yeah, basehits is what I saw differently about this season than last.... Basehits are like footballs run game, it travels .. HR are like a deep threat passing game, can come and go on you at the worst times.

Think we will see a Scott/Farley combo tonight with Volch tomorrow after we pummel Oklahoma’s freshman tonight

Hopefully the big bats DJ, Tre, Colby etc will come around. They've used their best starters I think. We've at least got a rested bullpen.

Who's starting today?

I'm wondering if our hitters are struggling with depth perception. The sky looks really bigger in the plains states than it does around here. It's hard to explain unless you have been there.

Or maybe their sphincters are just tightening up. One way or the other we are struggling to catch up to 91 MPH fastballs.
