At this point I don’t even consider this kid a loss. We all knew he was going elsewhere.

We have an established LB core this year and some studs chomping at the bit and already turning heads for 24 (Wilson, Allen). So I get Riddick wanting to go somewhere he could play quicker.

These are the top remaining recruits on the radar. I think Dawgs get five of six(In Bold).

4* LB NATL 133 Kristopher Jones Sunday July 30 at 7 p.m. ET Georgia, Florida State and Michigan State. Committing live on The Film Guy.
5* S NATL 7 KJ Bolden Aug. 5
5* DT NATL 3 Williams Nwaneri Aug. 7
5* DT NATL 34 Aydin Breland
4* RB NATL 51 Nathaniel Frazier
4* LB NATL 58 Chris Cole

Looking like it is more of a Georgia-Missouri battle. That is RIGHT NOW, which could always change.

Missouri is offering a very attractive NIL package and they also develop DLinemen very well.

Georgia will not match Mizzous NIL package but offers two straight titles and we develop DLinemen extremely well.

We feel like we lead, and of course Mizzou feels like they lead.

Add Nwaneri and LJ McCray, subtract Breland is the last I read on another site.

yes, it is. They took Burden a couple of years ago. They can definitely develop DLinemen and they want Nwaneri badly, which means they will go in big with NIL. They are a definite threat, in this case. Over on the recruiting board they are feeling very confident, which is a bit unsettling.

Almost All defensive players. Which I love, but can we assume outside of our RB target, we couldn’t reel in any of the receivers? Wingo, matthews, etc

Those are just the targets left. We have some WRs already committed that we feel really good about, and, in fact, we may have the best WR room we have ever had. But at this point, it appears as if we have missed on the top rated WRs.

Some believe we are working behind the scenes on one or two, which I am sure we will continue to work on them, but I'm not optimistic. Still like what we have though.

Would not surprise me one bit for either Ny Carr or Nitro Tuggle to get bumped to a 5 star with a good senior year. Especially with Tuggle at img now. Better competition. More exposure. If he dominates he could get his 5th.

I mean it's possible. But i wouldn't count on it. Tuggle would have to jump 43 spots or so, and Carr would have to jump 90+.

I'm sure it has happened before but those are extreme jumps.

4-star Kris Jones (On3 #128 and 10th best LB for 2024) declares tonight at 7:00 PM. Supposedly a strong Dawg lean.
