Johnson is quietly putting together an intriguing team.
With Condon coming back, he is bringing in:
- 3B Slate Alford from MSU
- LF Dylan Goldstein from FAU (bat .297 with 13 HR and 62 RBI last year)
- 1B Luke Farris from Western Ky (bat .291 with 13 HR and 43 RBI last season)
- C Weston Eberly from Columbia (bat .309 with 9 HR and 41 RBI last season)
Also bringing in John Marant from JUCO who hit .434 w/ 15HR & 70 RBI last year
If we can bring back Collins, Harber, Woods, and/or Sully post Draft then we may actually have a decent squad.

Branch is a Freshman All-American infielder who led Baylor in virtually every offensive category including R, RBI, HR, 2B, 3B, BB and stolen bases. Hit .325, 6 HR, and 41 RBI
Chadwick is an OF from Sam Houston. Hit .296 with 10 HRs and 48 RBIs

Like I said in the other thread, really exciting times watching these coaches build out basketball and baseball squads. Seems like a simple message
“I’m the new coach and we are going to build XYZ program like our football program has done. We got money coming for facility upgrades, and you get a top 50 education. Girls are legit too with 60% of campus being female. Go Dawgs”

If Woods, Sully, Harber, and Gonzo all leave for the draft then there’s a very good chance we won’t recognize basically anyone on the team minus Condon and Goldstein. Complete roster overhaul

We don’t have anyone on ESPN’s top 300 for the draft tonight (players or commits). Will be a very telling 48 hours for where we could be in the Spring of Woods, Sully, Harber, and/or Collins return

Probably because we’re bringing in a ton of competitive bats through the portal. He’s a great player but he has an injury history at this point and Wes isn’t going to play favorites with guys who have been around
