1000% agree on both DawgsLife and Saint's comments on my comment. I think it is better this way for all parties involved - just feels a little watered down compared to 3+ years ago when this day was a day long party. December signing is close, but it kind of like going to a St Patrick's Day party in Rome, GA after you have been going to St Patrick's Day parties in Savannah your whole life

Enough of the Debbie Downer now - very happy and excited to have another Top 3 signing class under Kirby!

Why expand the playoff so an undeserving PAC-12 team can participate? If you want to compete get better. Simple as that.

I agree. Most of the advocates of expanding do so with the caveat that every P5 conference champion gets in and then the highest G5 with one or two at large teams.

I just don't see putting teams into the playoffs that do not belong there and would only get blown out worse than teams are already getting blown out.

5star on rivals and not very high on 247. Seems one of them is off by a lot.

Sure it does.

Alabama plays a lot of freshmen.
They have track record of championships.
They send a ton to the NFL in early rounds.
Chance to play for the greatest coach ever. (probably)
Chance to play for a program in the middle (hopefully near the end) of a great run.
They will probably lose 2-3 starters out of their secondary

Yeah, I can't blame kids for picking Bama. As much as I hate them, Saban puts a shite ton of kids into the NFL.

These caliber kids are gonna get drafted regardless of where they go. Bama has had no worse than a number 5 class since Saban been there and that was in 2018. Nine #1 classes will make a schools draft history look good. Arnold would have been a big help in the secondary especially for depth. I'm really excited about the 2022 class. It's looking like it has a chance to be better than the 2018 class.

hard to beat the 2018 class. Hopefully 2022 won't have as much attrition as 2018

Mykel Williams decides next month. I don't know who he's picking but if he choose the good guys our Dline recruiting will be historic.

I hope he chooses us, but I honestly don't expect him to. He has not been overly enamored with us to this point, but we'll see if they can change his mind.
