I do think we are definitely in it for Christin Miller, though. The DLine recruiting in this cycle will end up being off the charts. DLine is off the charts with talent and we have gotten off to an outstanding start.
This is why people need to slow their roll on calling for a coach to be fired. We can see that Tray Scott can develop players, and he is now getting his feet on the ground recruiting. (Actually he has been recruiting well for a couple of years) This year he will really show out what he is capable of as the DLine will become a big strength of the team, which should help the LBs and secondary.

From what I read elsewhere, Miller is ours if we want him. May be other targets higher on our board though.

I hope you are right and I am wrong. I had heard/read (newsletter) that he was a bit standoffish towards us. Maybe I misinterpreted, or read into something wrong.
He is one I'd really like to have. Georgia has a good class along the DLine for 2022, and getting Bear Alexander out of Texas is a bit of a cherry on top.
The newsletter said there is a possibility we could see 3-4 more commits in the coming month, so that is exciting.

I doubt anybody is higher than him and I think we would love to have him.

Hopefully soon. It is on a volunteer basis, and I am pretty sure DawgsOnTop has been getting hit pretty hard with life, so I don't know if he will be able to do it again. It is a pretty thankless job. One that has to be looked after and updated a lot. Whoever does it deserves all of our respect.

He's a 4* and the #10 DT in the country and you don't think we have anybody rated higher than him on the board? What about the other 9 rated higher than him?
Not saying we don't want him or we don't get him. I'm just saying I saw some inside chatter that there may be 4 rated higher than him on the board. One committed to us yesterday, Tyre West is committed to us and it seems we feel pretty good about Mykell Williams right now as well.

I think he means higher on the Dawgs board right now.

As it stands today I'd think he's no higher than 4th on the big board based on chatter on other boards.

I can't wait until the 2022 Recruiting Thread gets started. Gunner Stockton is having a the same impact Fields had in the 2018 class.

Well, let's see.
We already have two of the DTs ranked ahead of him committed. Three more are 100% CBd to Alabama, Oklahoma and Clemson. There is Mykel Williams which would be higher on our board, but Wiliams will probably play SDE here, not DT. Another kid is from Ind, so while we do go after kids from outside the state, I would think the natural fit would be the kid from Georgia.
One outlier would be Walter Nolan, but we don't seem to be on his radar at the moment.

DoT? Do you have a problem with him doing it?
I can't say one way or the other, and i would let the guy that did it have first dibs.

I should say that I don't care who does it. Like I said, it is a thankless job. It's good to know we have somebody willing to step up if DoT is tired of fooling with it.

DawgRff is correct. I did mean on our board.
4th? Who are they saying is ahead?(Besides the ones already committed to us?) I should say I tend to go with players that we have a legit chance to land....and people that would play the position after they get here. Williams I see as a SDE and not a DT . His weight won't let him play a 0 tech here, I don't think, unless he puts on another 40-50 LBS which is possible, but not probable.

I'm thinking about it. I've been a member since 2012 and wouldn't mind contributing. The problem I would run into is having access to all the resources.

If someone wants to take over, my guess is DOT34 would be fine with it, but understand it's a commitment... If you're just starting a thread to talk about it, then do it but understand that it's likely going to get anchored once someone who is willing to put in the work too actually structure and keep up with offers/highlights/etc is able to actually start the official thread.
Take a look at Bama's recruiting thread from this past season. Surge may act like a turd on the SEC crootin board but he's done a nice job with their thread this past season (and TideSaint in years prior).
