I feel like all the shitty games we’ve sat through this season will be worth it next year. The eternal Dawg fan’s cry! Just wait til next year!

I refuse to let this team fool me into thinking we will score runs

We will end up losing like 8-3 with all 3 runs coming in the 1st

Well, yeah. But, hey, we got out of the 1st with the lead!

It’ll have to be 8-4 now, Rogers goes yard.

Dawgs up 4-1 after 2. Cannon looks to be struggling already.

FU manager was chirping at home plate ump in bottom 2nd.

Was anything ever reported on Stricklin’s beef with the ump yesterday? At one point it looked like Stricklin told him “you can’t say that to me”?

4-1 end of 3. Cannon pitch count over 50 already

This crew has been awful all weekend, though consistently so. Seems to be a theme this weekend across the conference. Lot of really generous strike zones

Cannon has conceded 3 walks, 3 hits, 2 wild pitches, and 1 HBP in 3 innings. Really think he needs another year to put it altogether

And a wild throw to 2nd on a pickoff attempt. Yeah, he’s got a lot of room to improve.

Still 4-1 after 4

Cannon makes it 5.2 and 104 pitches before giving up a 2 out single and another HBP to put 2 on with 2 away in the 6th

Makes this next week really interesting.

Full crowd at Foley, hopefully King and Connor Tate are back and healthy. If we can win that series, we should all but punch our ticket to a regional

Foley in May is really one of the most wonderful, under appreciated experiences in UGA sports. Do it right and go by one of the Five Points restaurants pregame and then watch baseball on a partly cloudy afternoon in what should be a packed house. Schools out so greenhouse will be packed with drunk kids enjoying Summer.

It’s why hosting a regional or super is such a privilege. Just an absolutely wonderful time

I've been to over a hundred games at foley in my life but I think the last was 2019, I think I read something recently that the right field/greenhouse area had been redone very recently is that right? Like something that inhibits the greenhouse backyard from being involved with games anymore?

They fixed up right field about 10 years ago to make an outfield patio area. Which is fine except they planted trees toward the top of the hill that come May will have full foliage and block the view. It’s debatable as to whether or not that was intentional and I wish they’d have the sense to cut them down or move them (or better yet, just fix that whole area into tiered seating). But that means most of the crowd moves next door to the apartments and parking lot behind them where the students have built platforms and back trucks up to tailgate from

Greenhouse and Brickhouse are still in full effect February-April, it’s just those damn trees blooming and filling out that kills kt

Let's get a W over the nerds this week and take at least 1 from OM on Senior weekend...win another 1 in the SECT and we should be in a regional

I don't expect to make any noise in the NCAAs, but would be good experience for the kids and also let recruits know that even on a rebuilding year, we made it
