It’s almost like every injury on the DL dramatically affects us because of how thin we are there due to not recruiting it worth a chit for two consecutive cycles...

Notably, Scott has been pulled as lead recruiter from most remaining targets including Burch, Zykevious Walker, etc.
Expect to see Kirby, Scott Fountain, and others on staff carrying most of the weight for DL recruiting between now and signing day.

About the same size as Tyrique Steven's, an inch and a half taller.

Yes, I caught that. But he does weigh 205, so I was wondering if he might end up at safety because of his size. If he puts on another 10 pounds (Possible since he has another year of HS left)he might lose some flexibility in his hips and end up moving to safety.
It was just a thought. I hope he stays at CB as we need more corners.

Tbd. I’ve heard good things, but it definitely doesn’t mean he’s a lock to the good guys. SC will push really hard for him, and Clemson would be a much bigger threat if one of their big names decommit for some reason.

Since we are focusing on interior DLinemen, these are the prospects who we have a good shot at as of 5/19/19.
Jalen Carter 4* 6-4 301 from Florida (top 5 DL)
Jacolbe Cowan 4* 6-5 277 from North Carolina has a close relationship with Coach Scott.
Other DLimenan
Jordan Burch 5* 6-5 250 from SC
Zykeivous Walker 4* 6-4 260 SDE
BJ Ojulari 4* 6-2.5 222 WDE (could play OLB)
If Jalen Carter sign with this class along with the top 2 DT from Georgia already committed(hopefully they stick), that's a win for Coach Scott on DT recruiting.
This should end up being a top 3 recruiting class.
