Ratledge looks really good today.
He's blocked well so far. Hard to glean much from these games but it was funny reading the Volnation recruitment of him. As soon as he spurned them they started posting videos of him losing one on one reps to big time defensive end prospects and talking about how he was overrated.

I’ll be honest: I don’t get the trepidation on our part. Set the expectation early that if he steps out of line at any time now that he is officially associated with the university then he’s done. Demonstrate that you want to change and you want to get better and that you can do that if given a chance to get away from home.
How could you not see?
We might be low on scholarships this year. If we dont think he is going to last to the end of his freshman year, then yes, you have to think about not giving him a spot, and with seeing good things out of Zeus and McIntosh with Milton coming in, and having Cook, maybe Kirby would be ok with using that spot for another position.

Would that not be Milton?
Obviously...but I meant one besides Milton since we are losing two. I should have been more clear.

That's standard procedure for many teams unfortunately.

I think it's pretty simple. There isn't someone out there more talented to take the offer who will. Take his LOI and boot him if he screws up. You open up a spot for next or can get a transfer.

Question to the gurus: if we don't get Evans, are we done at 21?
Posted on 1/4/20 at 3:26 pm to Walkthedawg
Had Evans commit we would have the #1 Recruiting Class. #TBD

No. In fact we are going after several more players and could end up with as many as 24 or 25.
ETA
Should say I am not a guru. I got this from Americus and a couple of other guys.
