Correct. We have the LOI.

That would be a ridiculous lie if he were actually lying and more damaging to his reputation than anything else he’s done.

Just an immature kid.

It’s all too much to keep up with. The article elsewhere says he stated he didn’t send one in, but to @AllDawgCks point he says I can’t reveal that just yet when asked if he sent an LOI in. So after watching the video, I’m more confused than reading the article.

Cause how do you state you did send one in earlier in the week and now as the week wraps up you state you can’t reveal if you sent one in? Unless he was confused by the question in thinking he was asked to reveal WHO he sent the LOI to.
Heres the video: LINK

Listen to the part where someone asks him who he’s still being recruited by and talking to and someone says, “Are you still talking to multiple schools?”, and he shakes his head and says “No, not multiple.”, then “Only one school?” and he clearly says, “Yes sir.”, then again, “Just one?”, and again he nods his head and says, “Yeah.”

And then a minute later he admits to speaking to Kirby just a few nights ago.

It’s abundantly obvious UGA is that one school, and that he’s only talking to one because that’s what the rules mandate when you’ve sent in your LOI.

I like your username. Reminds me of my favorite song, Lateralus. I'm sure that's not the reference you were going for, but, nevertheless.

To the poster who was concerned about RB recruiting over the next couple of years....remember we recruit very well nationally, so there's that.

Also, there are a couple of RBs that we seem to be in on that I like a lot for 2021.

Evan Pryor (William Amos HS...Cornelius, NC) Evan Pryor Soph. Season
Cody Brown (Lilburn...Parkview High School) Cody Brown soph season

Keep in mind these are from their Sophomore seasons in which they are competing primarily against Jrs and Srs

Both look very good to me, and we are in it for them. As time moves along, the rankings will change drastically and we will get in on more kids. We do a good job recruiting RBs.

Are we still taking Demon Clowney? I was looking at the class calculator, and we are in first easy with Kelee and Evans. Clowney adds a few more points.

247 has him at 100% (granted only 1 prediction)

Americus, you for real over on the crootin’ board? Gunner is likely a Gamecock? That’s disappointing, though I know a lot can happen between now and then.

If we end up with Vandergriff or Williams, wouldn't Stockton just turn into another Eason/Fields situation?

I really don't blame #1 level QB's not wanting to go to the same school in consecutive years. These guys want to play 2-3 years at a minimum. Not sit behind the previous year's #1 for 2 years and then have to likely play through their senior year just to get 2 years under their belt.

Unless, of course, they are 1000% dead set on graduating college before moving on to the NFL and declare ahead of time they absolutely are playing 4 years, then I think it would be unreasonable for us to be disappointed in not getting #1 QB's in consecutive years.

Don't get me wrong, I'd LOVE for it to happen purely because you just never know when the injury bug will bite. But again, I can't really blame a kid for not playing the chance game.

If Stockton were to come here and beat out Vandergriff/Williams for the starting job, then we all know Vandergriff/Williams would transfer out, as well.

It sucks, but that's just how this has turned into a business and the reality of today's college scene.

agreed, plus I am more worried about our 2020 QB situation, then 2021. 2022 is a long ways away. A lot of things can change

I’m pretty sure that it’s been said that Caleb Williams is not leaning toward us. So that means he and Stockton are likely both going elsewhere, so we better hit on Vandagriff and hope he’s pretty good. Obviously, again, we’re talking about a lot of time here.

As of now, 100%.
Although I think it's likely Carolina gets rid of Tanner and Boom next year.
Then if Bobo lands anywhere in the South, I'd expect Gunner there.
Still don't see any of the UGA guys at Carolina ever coaching back home.

I wonder if Gunner’s coach is an influence there? Rabun County’s coach is Jaybo Shaw - brother of one Connor Shaw who also went to USC from a NEGA school.

Although Jaybo played at Georgia Tech and Georgia Southern, so that may be a reach.

It’s been mentioned on the recruiting board that this is also a factor. I was just curious because I’ve seen a lot of folks saying Williams or Stockton were guys we needed to be super focused on, but as of now, it doesn’t seem like it will matter.

Mike Bobo's Dad working at Rabun County is the biggest factor. Stockton is a Dawg fan, but he has strong ties to Bobo and his family.

It can't hurt, but the relationship with the Bobo family is the biggest thing.
