I see what you mean now NC...i thought you were saying he wasnt a take on talent level...imo after yiu get past top 5 dbs this year 6-50 are so close you take and focus on who you feel most likely to pull

Edit: also 6-1 long corners who hit like a mac truck dont grow on trees just figured hed be higher on the board.

Tyson Campbell from last year was our biggest DB recruit since Champ Bailey. He gives us some luxury to be selective with Dre Baker becoming such an important DB. If you are getting SEC offers at any school you are a hell of an athlete reguardless. Dre Baker was a 3 star out of Miami and has been a stud for us. I think we are just trying to get more guys that we know are going to contribute at this point.

I get it, similar to boom and trob trying to get bigger at corner on the outsides with the taller physical wrs these days...IF we get Cam, Cam Jaycee and Isreal Mukuamu will be a tough corner crew to throw on and put some ballhaks brhind them itll be fun...our dline recruiting is going well we just need a few no brainer linebackers to go with the rest

Miami seems to be the hotbed for great CBs, and Kirby has figured that out. That's probably why UF has had a great secondary forever. With UM down they were able to rob Miami of whoever they wanted.

Nabad Joseph and Divaad Wilson both from Miami as well. Really loving the Miami DBs coming to UGA. Was really sad to lose Wildgoose because I thought he was going to be good as well. Seems like a lot of great DBs shine from the area.

Good place to be developing a recruiting presence, that's for sure.

Also the staff is really trying to get Booth here this weekend. I have no clue why we aren't making in roads with him, but im glad this staff doesn't give up on anybody they want

Booth has no desire to attend UGA. The staff has recruited very hard and he just doesn’t like UGA. Every now and again it happens, can’t win them all.

In regards to Cam Smith, Rusty says that UGA is still recruiting him very hard so I’ll take his word for it. Something tells me that Kirby and Co will trust their own evaluations over how many stars a kid has next to his name.

Booth and Pap were always the types that likely wouldn’t end up at UGA. It happens . They like being recruited and don’t have the state loyalty thing that a lot of Georgia boys grew up with. It is what it is. It’s ok, we will win without them.

I have seen Cam in person he is really fluid and fast. He gets lazy at technique sometimes when he thinks he is just more gifted than the guy he is covering. Guy I coached with last year is the OLB coach at Westwood this year so he sent me some film.

This one still blows my mind. I don't understand how he chose that place over us. Also Jeff Sentell put up an interesting article about Trezman Marshall LINK

If you haven’t read Delaoch’s notes for 7-27 you’re missing probably the best one this year.

So for those who won’t get said notes because they signed up too late for this mornings edition, how about some cliffs?
