As it stand we would join the 2018 Clemson and the 2013 Auburn as the only class to sign two 5* DL

Gotcha! In other news I recently watched DJ Daniel's highlight film. Dude looks like a star out there. Also looks like he enjoys coming up and playing the run. That's rare to find a long speedy corner who likes to lay a good hit

Just a great pick up with T. Walker.
Hard for me to look at him and not see some shades of Julius Peppers.
I expect us to transition towards more 4 man fronts going forward. Thinking about Walker and Cox and Nolan Smith roaming the edges is something special.

If we get Davis, Daniel and Johnson (all of whom we have 100% CB's for), we'd jump to 277.14.
That'd be good for 2nd, just 9 points back of Alabama with several big fish in play.

And here we are again, being in unbelievable shape moving forward in recruiting. My guess is we will have this class wrapped up in December just like last year.

Having most of it wrapped up allowed us to finish strong in February with a couple elite recruits we could focus in on, and was also nice for our relationships with the 2019 class.
I’ll take that same situation in a heartbeat this year.

Knowing Kirby, the class could be locked up right now. Walker stated that he has been a silent for two months, and we saw how some guys strategically popped last year. Who knows how many more guys are silents right now.

He’s still probably our weakest recruiter, but it’s kind of unfair to compare him to the rest of the staff compared to his competition as a DL Coach.
I also loved seeing how much better guys like Ledbetter, Clark, and Atkins got last year and I expect similar improvement from guys this offseason.
As long as he puts a good product out on the field, he’ll start to bring in good recruits.

And during that time "Insiders" were CB'n USCe as if they were currently leading.

I don't think a crow eating is in order, it's a fact that up until now we have had a lot to be desired on DL recruiting, at least compared to every other position on the field. This is a massive pickup and hopefully we keep on rolling but this pickup doesn't negate the "subpar" recruiting he's had til now.
Either way, if Kirby trusts him enough to employ him it's fine with me.

Its not like he can't learn to recruit either, if he wants to...we have some next level recruiters on this team and he can learn from some of the best in the nation.

To be fair, it was 1 USC analyst who put in a CB. The rest were saying it was really close and one or two made a claim that USC has pulled ahead, but only JC put in the pick; even then, JC admitted that UGA was still in the lead.
