I hope it's not a handler. We've done a good job of bringing in the right kind of players as well so I hope he doesn't throw things off.

Something doesn't add up. His HS coach said he is transferring to be closer to family. Clemson is 2.5 hours from his hometown.

Columbia makes sense...less than an hour from his home. Athens, however, is 3.5 hours away. Unless he is moving to be closer to family not from his hometown, seems like South Carolina is the place to go.

Eh, that seems sketchy. Like AU level sketchy

And there are now rumors that his family is trying to move Atlanta to help the mom get better medical treatment. Which would make sense for UGA to be in the picture.

If he is going to be that much involved with his moms situation, I don't see how he will find time go to classes and have a football career.

Sentell reporting at DN that Nakobe Dean is definitely a UGA lean now, and Stanford isn't nearly the player they once were, prior to his unofficial in Athens, last weekend. Mom calls the visit "The best ever."

On mobile, so can't link, atm.

#1 ILB (5*) isn't a bad consolation if we miss on Pappoe after all.

Considering our LB class of last year plus the fact that we already have Nolan Smith, Trezman Marshall and J.D. Bertrand, adding Dean would solidify us at LB for the next 4 years.

I want Pappoe, but I'm happy with our LB hauls. DT remains the primary need right now.

I can't get excited for a couple of CB's for a recruit coming fresh off a visit and will be taking several others before committing in December. Momentum is building this week with CB's rolling in for Rian Davis, C.J. Clark, and Jaelin Humphries. I'm excited Kirby is emphasizing on recruiting the best and processing the rest

Nakobe Dean (5-star ILB), Rian Davis (4-star OLB/ILB), and CJ Clark (4-star DT) all in today from Rusty Mansell.

It's funny when you read message boards and people still doubt Nolan Smiths commitment

Kirby will not be saying "Owen who." CBs and commitments don't mean much at this point. Kirby will continue to build relationships with the best players and probably gain a couple of flips before it is over.

It's really amazing what kirby is doing right now. Dean is an animal. Humphries, Clark, Walker, Norton would be the core of an insane DL class.

To those who are still fretting and think the sky is falling...I don't know what to tell you.

Cock worshippers are heralding him as the most important recruit since Clowney.

Well in fairness he’s the highest rated recruit to commit to SCAR since Clowney. Pickens is a really good player but they’re still way behind on talent. Some of their fans would argue Champ is a better coach than Kirby. That’s the consensus on their 247 board at least
