You guys think last nights game was a recruiting ploy to rerecruit the guys that were on the edge about declaring? It was just too weird the way the whole team including Kirby had no fire. Almost like he didn't prepare for the game. There has to be more to this story.

It's not the opinion that pisses people off. Everybody has opinions, which may be wrong or right. But when you say it over and over, in every thread, then it becomes an agenda.
The national championship game happened a year ago; everybody saw the outcome and the consequences have been thoroughly debated. Fields is gone and that likewise has been beaten to death. What you're doing is trolling the board, incessantly, which is what trolls do

and start the same arguments all over again.
That's obviously your goal. Why not just say "1980" or "Dwag", then we'll know which loser program you're trolling for.

It absolutely is, but this is the recruiting thread, even though nobody has a lick of recruiting news and the class is mostly signed. So I'll leave it at that.

Shut the frick up already. We've heard it from you 500 times in 100 threads. We know what your opinion is.

On an entirely unrelated, recruiting note. With Hollywood Brown declaring for the draft today, is that the green light to cue Haselwood to Oklahoma? Looks like he's been ballin out on the clips they've posted at the AA bowl practices.

Some people are saying it's already a done deal and he sent in his LOI to OU. Some people say it's just his financial aid papers. Either way we will find out on the 5th. Supposedly.

In some ways, I do think Kirby was playing fast and loose with the lineups last night. Divaad Wilson and Azzez got significant snaps even though they were nowhere near game ready? Seems to me Kirby was willing to jeopardize losing very easily for some reason.
It might not be an intentional move but it at least gives us an opportunity to tell some kids that we need them to get over the hump.
Anyone else think the Walker injury was bullshite? He tweaked a groin roughly a month ago and it wasn't able to heal? That seems suspect to me.

Groin injuries can take a long time to recover from.
I highly doubt Kirby threw a game to recruit/rerecruit anyone. If anything I could see it being due to what was reported about players having to be benched/threatened to be benched due to not putting in any effort in bowl practices.

I still don't buy it, It was a whole freaking month he had to get treatment and he still couldn't go. Lebron James just pulled a groin and he'll be back in a week. Walker has access to treatment 24/7.

I don't think they are bad as a hamstring. But like a hamstring, I have seen players hampered for a full season if not allowed to shut it down and heal.

The Walker injury was not bullshite. You think Swift's were bullshite after he had surgery on both of them? He wasn't 100% until 6 weeks into the season.
I referee youth sports on a very high level and a moderate groin injury will knock me out for 4-6 weeks minimum. Granted, I'm not 22 anymore, but they are no joke.

2 issues with a Groin injury. First, it's extremely nagging. I had a groin injury lifting weights as a kid and I swear it still bothered me a year later. The other issue is even when it stops bothering you - it takes a long time to get comfortable doing things again because of being scared to re aggrevate the injury. Groin injuries are no joke.

And we can finally put the pipe dream of Jadon in Red and Black to bed. Time to move on.

I'm not even mad. OU and Riley seem to be a perfect fit for him. Good luck to the kid.
