I agree that the Fields question is relevant to our recruiting. He played a role in helping land the #1 class last year and if he looks likely to leave I don't see how that's positive for this year's class or the next. Everybody seems a bit defensive, hoping this situation resolves for the best, but that's not guaranteed. Even opposing coaches sense the problem and are starting to make public remarks about Fields not playing. I'm sure their comments to recruits aren't so subtle.

But does he really look likely to leave? He committed to UGA with both Eason and Fromm on the team. He was quoted as saying, "if Eason were to get hurt and Fromm comes in and plays really well" he would need to rethink his decision. Well, that happened and he still enrolled. He also said he didn't mind not playing his Freshman year and learning the system. He also is really close to his sister, who plays Softball at UGA.
So what indications are there right now that he would be considering leaving?
Other than a few mouth breathing morons, namely HTDawg and Dj SJW?

The LSU game would be an issue for me. If I’m Fields, I’m wondering exactly how much Fromm has to struggle for me to get a shot.

We were only down by 10 points early in the 4th. Guessing we were riding Fromm to keep it from getting away and hoping his experience would get us back in it.
It was just a bad game but the coaches must not trust Fields to be able to manage the offense under that kind of pressure in that kind of environment. I’ve got to think that the coaches see something in practice that we don’t.
Regardless, that’s got to be something they are prepared to speak to with recruits.

It’s called common sense, which you obviously don’t have. A player like Fields isn’t going to ride the pine for three years behind Fromm. He will leave at the end of this year, or at the very least after a redshirt year next year. There is no way in hell he is going to be starting here or playing any a significant amount, that much has been established. I hope I’m wrong, but I don’t believe I am. It will affect recruiting if he leaves.

I started one and several other folks have too but for some reason people insist on beating this Qb drama to death. I’m to the point to where I don’t care if he transfers or not. Smart is the coach and if he isn’t happy with the decisions he makes then maybe he should move on.

Seriously. Can we knock the shite off here and leave discussion of all things not *specifically* related to current recruits in the 2019 class. There are 1,000,000 other threads across this forum and others where you can all wax poetic about your favorite QBs penis and why you want it in your mouth more than the other poster.
