It’s smart (no pun intended). The information is orchestrated to a large extent. Commitments get lined up and announced on a schedule.
It’s only possible due to the fact that there is roughly a 25 scholarship limit each year, and UGA under Kirby has and will turn away multiple 4* kids every year.
There are other teams in the SEC who would kill to build their whole class around guys that we won’t even let official visit because there isn’t room.
Far out...

Somebody needs a fricking raise on the UGA staff. Go check out his IG story. They setup his room and the poster had a picture of his best friend who had passed away with Jason looking up at him.

I saw that. Nice touch by UGA. Pulling on the heart strings by recognizing his late friend. Brilliant move by Kirby and staff

The little things are what separates this staff from others. All aboard the Kirb-Train

I'd have been hesitant to go that route without some foreknowledge of what he wanted.

Very interesting to see what happens on the last OL spot.
Seems clear we cooled on Keegan.
Neal looks Bama bound.
Wright is going to Tennessee.
I guess we will push late for Nester, but I wouldn’t call him an “elite” tackle prospect.

They better work on Trezman Marshall to make sure he doesn't flip to Tennessee. Sounds like he's about to.

Same here. In fact, I would be offended.
However, Jadon wore his friends number in the State Championship game, and (I think) the team wore his initials on the sleeves of their jersys, so I am guessing the staff felt like it was a safe thing to do.
But, yes. Doing something like that is a risky move.

I don’t know what position he’d play, I’m leaning Guard, but his style of play is nasty, borderline dirty. I like that if the guy is on my team. Reminds me of Cade Mays.
Do you know if Pitt is looking for an OT, OG or best available?

Aren't we going to be a little thin at tackle after next season?
Posted on 12/15/18 at 9:12 am to CoolMtnDawg
Nope....... they are all fat, thick and strong

Meh, not really. Obviously Thomas and Wilson will be your starters but Condon and Mays can play those spots as second string plus anyone who comes in as a freshman

He asked about "after next season". There is a good chance we don't have Thomas. Similar chance for Wilson.
I don't know Condon. But that is a high standard that he would be filling.
