It appears that Kirby is making an example of Rodrigo's dad. Or at least making him wish he had kept his mouth shut.

Does anyone know the Dad in person? I wonder if he is a jackass all of the time or just on special occasions.

Reality is that specs is a very average kicker. I feel like kirby will only burn a scholarship at that spot if the player is truly exceptional or if he can serve multiple functions. The new guy seems to be viable on punts, kick offs, and field goals. I get it.

He is more than just your typical proud dad in case you haven't figured that out.

Evidently, he kept a blog through high school soccer and pointed out all of the mistakes and weaknesses of Rodrigo's teammates (insinuating that his son is great and never the reason the team lost).

He's a high school English teacher and soccer coach at Walton. Doesn't get any doucheier than that.

Also, Rusty and Kipp submitted CB's for Zeus to Clemson, so it's no longer a rumor that they are the heavy favorite. 2018 is off to a slow start, with a lot of top level talent in the state looking elsewhere. I wish we could fast forward to 2019

Wouldn't surprise me if Kelly is let go after this season unless there is a major turn-around. That and he has a sister who is going/or will go to UGA, maybe we'll get back in it.

Yeah but I think we kind of got spoiled with the start we had last year, this class will still be very good imo. Even though a lot of in-state guys are committed elsewhere, remember at this point last year guys like Fromm, Netori, Beal, Holloman, Shaffer were committed elsewhere and later on we flipped another 4 or 5 guys. Not time to worry yet.

There is still a long, long way to go until NSD '18. Missing on White is one that stings, but we'll get our RBs. We've known for about a year now that in-state talent is way down this year and we were going to have to go out of state for a lot of guys which means a pretty up-and-down cycle.

Clemson just won a NC, they just unveiled a new athletic facility for the players that is completely unrivaled by anyone, and they're a hot name. They could easily land the top 3 overall players this year. U do not see them, however, becoming the dominant force that Bama is/was.

Agreed. And by no means am I panicking, but Kirby spoiled us last year. If the 2018 Georgia class wasn't so weak, I wouldn't think twice about the current events. With that said, Zeus is a Gurley like talent so that will hurt. I really want to see him in the red and black.

I actually think this is a good thing. Ohio State was seen as the favorite to land him. He also named Ohio State as his leader. It is going to be a lot easier to flip him from Notre Dame then it would be from Ohio State

White will be a Dawg! UGA is a better fit for him then Clemson. UGA has a better RB tradition then Clemson. UGA will run the ball more then Clemson. Also by the time he signs, Clemson's depth at RB will be a lot deeper then UGAs.

White could end up at UGA, but let's go off his current status. All signs point to Clemson. What next? We need 2 RB's this cycle, with at least one being a blue chip back

Kyler McMichael could be a target.

UGA will also recruit nationally at RB

Pierce fell all the way down to being unranked in the lastest ranking. Not sure why though.
