They're crowing on tRant Recruiting about locking down TN natives. I said I'll gladly see their TN kids for teams of our GA boys and we'll watch how it shakes out.

I'm actually more interested in seeing how their coaching "upgrade" shakes out. First time Head coach, first time OC, first time DC. Throw in Pruitt's volatile personality and Fulmer's meddling and there's potential for plenty of problems. It's not the ingredients for a sure fire turnaround of a struggling program, IMO.

Hopefully Salyer and Hill crush it this weekend recruiting Mays

Gonna have to watch that staff... they'll have some limited success in GA still in all likelihood. Sherrer can croot pretty damn well. Obviously, Pruitt can as well. I don't anticipate it putting a sizable dent in what we're doing, but don't discount what they'll do too much. 2018 should be pretty well taken care of so long as we get all the signatures we're expecting/hoping for in the early period... 2019 would be surprised if they're able to get a lot of momentum in Georgia on the heels of what likely is a 6-7 win maximum (they draw Auburn next season for their rotating west game). 2020 class could be a good year for them with the 2019 schedule looking more favorable...

2019 is so deep in the south that even if UT gets left with leftovers they will still end up with a Top 10 class in the nation. Just a few years ago they were still plucking 5 stars from our state on the regular. I expect those battles to heat up with Pruitt

Whipped Pruitt at Bama, no doubt we kill him at UTk. They'll have a boost no doubt, but along with everyone else in the East, they'll settle.

Sounds cocky, but just watch.

*Not far from including the whole SEC in that statement

shite's about to get real.

Mentioned board was gonna spin at the early period. Things would change. Tactics, methods, and determination that were new to me. Names not mentioned much, if at all.

This is accurate, was simply referring to potential recruiting "battles"... I figure the 2019 class we're probably on the winning end of most of those. 2020 class, after what probably looks like a decent 2019 season for them (assuming Pruitt does ok) they may then have more success head to head with us (or other programs) regardless of how we're doing.

IMO Tennessee will be battling it out with Auburn for the guys we aren't recruiting (M. HIll, J. Irvin, others). Good players but not top 10-15 in the state

I'm not sure who we are competing against for the best in Georgia under Smart. Maybe Clemson and Bama. Maybe there is no competition

Most definitely... If I'm looking at a class on the whole, would be surprised to see anything else, was just commenting that it's dangerous to discount him altogether... they'll win one here or there... probably not for our prime targets, but some of the middle tier.

Dammit... is this a hint?! I'm now looking for recruits with connection to:
Wheels, Millions, Dr Evil, BerryFactory.com, and Fortune...

Do not do this to me ... gimme a position to consider at least.

I don't think anyone expects him anywhere other than Penn State. We get a visit so that's good but I can't imagine pulling him out of there backyard.

This kids a trip though...he trashed Ohio State whom was his clear leader and they basically stopped recruiting him. Kid gives no fricks. Total cancer type but my god he's good.

I don't really know anything about the decommitment other than chatter on other sites. I would imagine it's to clear a spot....but I am no expert on this.

We pulled Swift and Mark Webb from there, why not Parsons? It's a brave new world with Kirby in the house !

Normally our insiders would say there is a real shot or you would see some crystal balls or tea leaves float our way before that happens. I've seen nothing ...not even a tea leaf that would lead me to believe Parsons interest is legit however giving us a visit does give me hope.

Agreed for a year or two, but if you want to check the list of how many ways to deter a kid or parent from him, it won't be a short story.
He's got to pull OOS kids, and as a poster mentioned, will pull from rivals, not too many from us imo.

No hint there. Just board got spun, and it looks we're going to the bonus round.
No goose chase any more. Promise.

Heard similar remarks elsewhere... very curious to see what that's going to mean. Just feel like ITS and Campbell are unlikely at DB... so not sure where we look if it's not a combination of him and his teammate.
