Has it truly been a matter of Kirby pulling the strings on the silents, coordinating when announce for maximum momentum?

On a few, yes. Others have occasions or an important date in mind, so I'd assume they're planned around those. No stoned left unturned. As mentioned, they've got some great methods

Clemson...a very decent academic institution.

Riiiight... About on par with Auburn. And they won a natty not too long ago, as well.

Like I said, if it's between Clemson and UGA and the kid is actually interested in attending a real university, UGA is the hands down choice.

If he only cares about the football aspect, than sure...Clemson is quite a bit like Auburn. shite hole town, too.

Clemson is really good for ag but that’s about it. It wouldn’t surprise me if mays went into the ag field.

Let's pump the brakes a little there. Clemson has massively improved their reputation as an academic institution in the last decade or so. University rankings are kinda bullshite, but if you're going to accept them for UGA, gotta acknowledge them for others as well:
UGA - #54 Overall, #16 Public - US News 2018
Clemson - #67 Overall, #23 Public - US News 2018

It's not like you're comparing apples to fricking celery there. They're in the ballpark these days.

As to the shite hole town... sure. Clemson as a town kinda sucks but it is getting better. Also, that's why they built a god damn amusement park for a football complex. Also, they old "It's Auburn with a Lake" isn't that far off. Lake Hartwell is close. I've been to as many or possibly more Clemson games than I have UGA games... it's an alright place overall. It's not Athens, but it's alright.

I'd just like to pump posts like this out of the recruiting thread.

All you got to do is compare average SAT scores at UGA over the last decade to Clemson...or many other state schools in the South...UGA is running with the UVAs and UNCs now.

Clemson is just another middling shite hole. But great if you just want to be a football player!

Fair enough... I would say that my rare tangential replies to offbase comments in this thread are offset by the actual recruiting content and discussion I bring fairly frequently...

Anyways... back to the fackin party...

Yes. UTk is not getting him back. We take one from Knoxville and one from Columbia.

Americus - You know anything about the offer that went out to 4* WR - Rashod Bateman out of Tifton? Current Minnesota commit. Guessing plan B/C guy? Film looks decent, but a lot of him blowing past bad coverage too.

Yes sir. Taylor's trending back to UTk.

Don't doubt it, but Tift County plays in a pretty tough region.

I know we're trying to get him to Athens this weekend and trying to get him to hold off until February.

A lot of coaches were in the area yesterday and some boosters met in Tifton with Kirby. Had a few guys from here fly down to meet them yesterday afternoon.

I like Bateman a lot better than Elijah Moore, tbh

I'm not sold on Moore either.
Just seemed to do well at a few camps. Haven't heard of any attrition from the offensive side though.

Aaron Brule tweeted out "cut throat business" earlier this morning. I wonder if he got processed by the Kang.
