Honestly, reeling in a top notch dual-threat QB might be just what we need to take it to the next level. If you look at the recent playoff contenders and winners, having a superior dual-threat QB made a huge difference for each of those teams: Alabama, Clemson, FSU and OSU. Having said that, Fromm has proven that he can make a difference running the ball so we might already have part of the magic formula.

Fromm ran it well in one game. He isn't a true duel threat. I just posted something similar to what you did in another thread though. I agree duel threats are winning in college football and we just got the best one.

That's "dual threat" and I also see it hyphenated as: dual-threat QB. I have made the same mistake before. A duel: a contest with deadly weapons arranged between two people in order to settle a point of honor.

Luke Ford has been rumored as a highly likely to follow.
Micah Parsons more of a rumored connection because they were committed to PSU together, but haven't seen much smoke there.
He's mentioned previously that there was at least one DB that was interested in playing with him but I don't know that anyone identified who it was.
Kearis Jackson *was* one that was linked but obviously committed before Fields.
Will look to see if I can find the article from a while ago that listed out a few position numbers.

Yeah, just checked class calculator, even with Fields added, we're still just shy of the 10 spot.
