Can’t trust this team until the pen shows that they can get someone out.

KMac with a sharp double tonkeft drives in Maxwell. Dawgs lead 1-0 and Keegan keeps the hot bat going

This team is loaded with some really good freshman talent. We should surprise a few people and next year should be even better. My daughters boyfriend has committed to UGA for the 2019 season, a lefty that can throw it 90mph plus right now as a junior in high school. Hoping this team continues to improve.

Or until we start playing good teams. We won’t know how good we actually are until conference play starts. We could very easily have a season like Tennessee did last year.

Thats part of the pen question. Once we start playing Florida, Vandy, Kentucky, Ole Miss, etc.. we are going to be facing early round starters, and we wont be scoring as much(more than likely), so for us to win games, we are going to have to have the pen step up.

Right now, Im just happy we are beating the teams we are supposed to. We still have two more "soft" weekends until SEC play.

CoC completes the sweep. Back in action tomorrow against Charleston Southern, then Tuesday against the Citadel.

Been out of town all weekend so I didnt keep up with any game, but being swept by Charleston does not surprise me at all.

Best team we've played so far. Away games. Awful coaching, and a team that is not as good as the first two weekend showed.

This team is a one and done SEC Tourney team again. Might make it to .500, but thats all.

7-1
76 runs, 37 against
9.5 for vs 4.62 against
played 173, 103, 181 in RPI

0-3
6 runs, 17 against
2 for, 5.67 against
played 27 in RPI

Like has been said before. Offense wouldnt hold up against descent pitching, and the staff would be worse.

I'm starting to forget what it feels like to enjoy a successful year in basketball and/or baseball.
