We aren’t the only ones doing that. LSU and TAMU doing it as well. Not really sure the reason behind it other then maybe just travel, spring breaks, etc

Its done for tv. SEC Network has games of the week on Thursdays. So every week, some of the top series are done Thursday through Saturday.

We weren’t on SECN and we won’t be today or tomorrow....only on SECN+
Also, this was scheduled before the season started, it’s not like they changed it for a TV game of the week

Updated the OP to reflect up-to-date team stats including some additions on pitching. Don't look now but what Schunk is doing as a utility guy is rather incredible
