Even with the decommit, still #2 ahead of bama

I really liked his size but at the same time he's not highly rated and seemed to be a bit under the radar and that's the kind of guys Richt does well with. If we can land Hollowman and Webb I would be quite happy with the receiver group this year. No big time superstars in that group but some very good players overall.

You dont think Holloman will be a superstar for us?

Can't speak for him, but I don't think the comment was stating that none of them will *become* superstars for us. Simply that none out of that group are AJ Green type "can't miss" recruits. We won't know what we have until they get on campus, versus maybe a D. Peoples-Jones or Tee Higgins who are by most accounts "can't miss" guys at the position. Mark Webb is the most highly rated WR we have that is likely to end up here. Nico Collins comes in slightly higher, but is less likely (give us maybe a 5-10% chance at him when it's all said and done as of right now).

Fair enough, AJ types are rare. Im optimistic because of what we havent had in so long, guys that can get vertical.

ILB Will Ignont lists his top 4 on Twitter, UGA is not one of them. Had previously named UGA his favorite, though I don't think many believed him

Anybody know who this possible BIG commit this weekend is? 247 guys keep alluding to someone, Barton Simmons particularly

Ill just say some prayers and hope it's Nate Mcbride. I feel like he is going to be a beast.

Mcbride would be great, is Jacoby Stevens coming to town? I believe he is announcing this month, are we still in the drivers seat?

I assumed they meant BIG literally, and that it would be an o-line or d-line guy, but we're full on o-line unless it's one of those top-tier tackles, and i know of very few d-lineman we're after. Also just to update, rivals has Trey Blount, Malik Herring, Kenney (KJ) Britt, Aubrey Soloman all as attendees for this, as well. Good chance to get in Aubrey Soloman's ear and tell him that Harbaugh is only interested in having him for sleepovers

Maybe Its some OL from TN that has hardly played in HS due to injuries, but he is some kind of freak for his size, and he might earn an offer.

I thought he said later July or early august? Not doubting you, I just didn't think he was ready to commit (publicly anyway?) this soon.

Bama had a 4* decommit from them, so that played into it. In fact, I think we widened the lead. I won't be expecting it to remain that way, but will be thrilled if we somehow stay ahead of them, or at least stay close.
